1 About the Authors Allen A. Arntsen is a partner in the Madison office of Foley & Lardner LLP, practicing in the areas of commercial, intellectual property, and real estate litigation. Mr. Arntsen is a former vice chair of the Madison Planning Commission and has chaired and been a member of several city of Madison task forces and commissions concerned with land use issues. He has taught and written on eminent domain and land use issues and has tried numerous real estate and eminent domain cases. Melinda A. 2 Kelly L. Centofanti is the managing partner of Centofanti Law, S.C. He has authored more than 35 articles on professional liability, trial practice, and dispute resolution in national and statewide publications, and is a frequent speaker at continuing legal education seminars throughout the state of Wisconsin. He is a former president of the Wisconsin Defense Counsel (formerly Civil Trial Counsel of Wisconsin) and is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. Paul C. Werkowski is a partner in the Milwaukee office of SmithAmundsen LLC. He received his B.S. from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in 1998 and his J.D. (cum laude) from the Thomas M. Mr. Zilske concentrates his practice in the defense of worker s compensation claims and related employment, disability, and insurance law issues. He received his B.A. and his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Madison. Previously, he was a Hearing Examiner (Administrative Law Judge) for the Wisconsin Worker s Compensation Division.
