3 Beverley S. Braun, Esq. HSBC Bank of USA Beverley S. Braun is Senior Legal Counsel at HSBC. She previously was a litigation partner at Jaeckle Fleischmann & Mugel, LLP, where she and concentrated her practice in business and commercial litigation. Ms. Braun received her B.A., from the State University of New York College at Geneseo, her M.S. in Chemistry from the Rochester Institute of Technology and her J.D., magna cum laude, from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School. Ms. Braun was the recipient of the Judge Matthew J. Jasen Appellate Practice Award, the Robert J. Connelly Trial Technique Award, and the University at Buffalo Law School Faculty Award. She is admitted to practice in New York State, and before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, U.S. District Court for the Western and Northern Districts of New York and U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of New York. She is a member of the New York State, American and Erie County Bar Associations, the WNY Chapter Women s Bar Association of the State of New York and the Order of Barristers. Ms. Braun also serves on the Board of Directors for the Aquarium of Niagara and the University at Buffalo School of Law Alumni Association. Ms. Braun serves as a Trustee for the Raichle Foundation and is also a member of the Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) for the Rochester Regional Health System. Ms. Braun was selected to receive the 2014 Pro Bono Award from the United States District Court for the Western District of New York for her distinguished service to those in need of legal assistance who do not have the financial resources to secure counsel. Prior to entering the legal profession, Ms. Braun served as a Director of Six Sigma Corporate Process and Administration at Avery Dennison. She began her career at Fasson Roll North America as a Commercial Product Engineer and then Commercial Black Belt.

5 Cheryl Smith Fisher Episcopal Diocese Cheryl Smith Fisher became a member of the Foundation s Board of Trustees in Fisher is a partner of the Buffalo-based law firm of Magavern Magavern Grimm LLP. She practices in the areas of employment law, commercial litigation, bankruptcy and professional responsibility. Fisher is a past president and director of the Bar Association of Erie County and is a past chair of the Ethics Committee. She also chairs the Committee on Character and Fitness, Eighth Judicial District, and is cochair of the New York State Bar Association Committee on Professional Ethics. She is a vice president of the New York State Bar Association and member of the Executive Committee and House of Delegates. She is a member of the Women s Bar Association. Fisher has been a presenter at many CLE programs in the areas of Ethics, Not-for-Profit Law, Commercial and Employment Law. She serves as assistant chancellor for the Episcopal Diocese of Western New York. In 1999 she received the Episcopal Community Services Bishop Lauriston L. Scaife Award for Outstanding Volunteer Service to the Community through an ECS Agency. Fisher is a past chair of the board of Lord of Life Adult and Child Services, Inc. a child day care center, and an adult day care facility for those suffering from dementia. For more than 20 years Fisher has been a member of the Board of Directors of Child and Family Services of Erie County, Inc., and is a past chair. In 2000, she received that board s John N. Walsh Jr. Board Appreciation Award for commitment to strengthening family life in western New York. In addition, she serves on the boards of Resurrection Village, Inc., a corporation working on housing and other issues on Buffalo s east side, and CMH Counseling, Inc. A resident of Buffalo, NY, she graduated cum laude from State University of New York at Oswego and cum laude from University at Buffalo Law School, where she taught research and writing.

7 Ralph L. Halpern, Esq. Committee on Professional Ethics Ralph L. Halpern is a 1953 graduate of the University of Buffalo School of Law. After serving three years in the Army Judge Advocate General's Corps he was a partner in the Buffalo law firms of Raichle, Banning, Weiss & Halpern for 26 years and Jaeckle Fleischmann & Mugel, LLP for 21 years and Senior Counsel for four years. He is now a sole practitioner. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association Committee on Professional Ethics for 48 years, five of which were as chairman.
