1 The Counsellor Characters: Majola (Husband) Majola (Wife) Sipho Majola (Son) Pinky Majola (Daughter) Charles Magagula ( s Friend 1) Thokozani Mashaba ( s Friend 2) Nkosi ( s Friend 3) Grace Mbongeni ( s Friend 1) Bridget Jones ( s Friend 2) Portia (PA to ) Williams ( s colleague) This is a story about a Marriage Counsellor who can t fix his own marriage. counsels a lot of people and make sure that their marriages work. is a lawyer and they have two children, Sipho and Pinky. They don t ever spend time together as husband and wife or an outing with their children. He is always at work counselling people or when he s not at work, he s with his friends. When he gets home, he s tired and wants nothing else but to sleep and wake up the next day and go to work. had an appointment with his and the kids, to go watch movies, but he did not pitch as he was busy counselling people and forgot about their date. That made his wife very crossed and he always apologises when he s done wrong things. When tries to make something special for them, he s just worried about their finances as he is expected to make sure that the bills are paid. is not worried about all that, she just wants her husband to give her attention which she does not get because he is always too busy to take care and give attention to his wife and family. When is sitting with his friends, he complains that his wife is demanding a lot from him and she wants to spend a lot of money on unnecessary staff like going out, whereas they can just cook and eat, watch movie at home. He does not understand why she wants to do all these things. Instead, his friends do not give him right guidelines to making it work for his family. They think alike, but is the only one who tries to bring sense to, but he does not want to listen. is single and has a good friendship with ( s wife) he listens to her and s friends would always tell her to leave and date because does not do what he s supposed to do for his family and seems to be the kind of guy who would do that. Bridget says all these things to because she wants and to divorce so she can be with. Bridget and were having an affair, but did not have much time to spend with her because he is always at work.

2 is doing a great job in counselling people but he can t make his marriage work as he is always too busy. dated a guy by the name of Williams from work to try to bring attention to and would always tell that she will leave if he continues not giving her attention. This did work because reduced his working hours and tried to be home early and gave attention to his family, but did not stop dating this guy as she was now falling in love with him. Later on, this guy broke up with. Thokozani ( s friend 2) told about saying that is having an affair with Bridget ( s Friend), which did. accused Bridget about that and Bridget told her that there was nothing going on between her and. She went home and told that Thokozani told her that he is having an affair, which was a trick to see what would say. and Thokozani fought. woke up in the morning and went to s practice and stayed there for the whole day while was working to see what is happening. Bridget came to s practice and found sitting there and she was shocked to see her, she ran away. Thokozani did all this just to be with. fell for Thokozani because she thinks he is the only one who can do things right amongst them all. thought that this could bring attention to and change, but she was wrong because Thokozani was HIV Positive. When found out that they were having an affair, that s when he tried to change, but it was too late because was already infected with the virus. and his other friends went to Thokozani s house to fetch to come back home. They found that Thokozani was beating up and was treating her like a dog because he knew her situation. and Thokozani fought and was taken back home with. went for an HIV test and she found out that she is HIV Positive. separated with and the children did not want to stay with because they knew that he won t give them attention just like he did when their parents where still together, but Sipho (Son) was matured enough to think about the situation and decided to leave his mother to stay with his father, but all this, he was doing to try to bring his parents back together. Eventually, and got back together and took care of them and made all things right. A year later, quite her job because of her health condition. She could not work anymore and she was starting to be sick. took care of her and made sure she takes her medication every time. Their lives change and they became a happy family, but the only concern was s condition. That did not matter too much because was taking care of her and the children. Later, died..the End.

3 Script Baby, I have a busy day today. My PA said the phone has been ringing off the hook. Oh and I need to pay the electricity bill today, do you have some money to assist me this month? 4 Portia You have 3 appointments this morning, one at 09H30, 10H30 and 11H30. Then you have four more in the afternoon at 14H00, 15H00, 16H00 and 17H00. Do you want me to call your first appointment to come in? Yes please. ( at the office with ) You know I am not happy with lately. He is different from the day I met him. We never go out anymore, we never do anything special together. I don t think he loves me anymore. I think he s got a girlfriend. I love him, but he does not seem like he does. 5 Ja, you look stressed. What is it? Nothing, I m fine Grace No my friend, we are your friends and we can see if something is bothering you. Please tell us. Girls, I have a problem with my husband. He does not give me attention anymore and I think he is cheating on me, but the question is, with who? (Bridget looks shuttered) And he does not even care about our children.
