1 2018 School Grant Information for Applicants - School Grants are available for eligible students attending New Zealand schools. Students can apply for one School Grant each school year. School grants can be used towards stationery, uniforms, classroom costs, school donations, class trips. The School Grant is currently open for new entrants Year 1 students only. - The 2018 School Grant amounts per approved student are: Primary level (year 1) $40 Payment of Approved School Grants Year 1 Students - The Trust will either pay the grant to the student s school account OR you can choose to be posted a Warehouse Stationery gift card. - If the school is outside of Taupo or Turangi you must provide a copy of the school bank account deposit slip, and where applicable the student s school account reference or ID number. For new entrants (Year 1 students) starting school during the year, grant applications will be processed up to the end of October Applications for all students for the 2019 school year will be open late November 2018 to the end of March The 2019 application form will be available from the Trust website late November Applicant Checklist - please read carefully and check the information you need to complete / provide: School Grant applications Compete these pages: Student and School Details page Attach a copy of the School bank account deposit Slip (only needed if the school is out of Taupo / Turangi). For primary students in Years 1-6 who want a Warehouse Stationery gift card do not include the deposit slip. Grant Eligibility Applicants and students must be owners or the descendants of owners of land vested in the East Taupo Lands Trust. Owners, applicants and students must be resident in New Zealand. The Blocks administered by this Trust are: Kaimanawa 1F, 2B Tapapa 3A, 3B1, 3B2 Wharetoto 1, 2A, 2B, 3, 11 Runanga 2C2A, 2C3B1, 2C3B2B, 2C3C, 2A, 2B, 2C1A, 2C1B, 2C1C, 2C1D All relevant sections of the application form must be completed in full and signed, and have the required attachments. Failure to provide accurate details and / or complete this application correctly may result in your application being declined. Attach a printout of the Maori Land Online record. Whanau Trust Ownership If ownership is through a Whanau Trust, complete his/her whakapapa down to the name of his / her tipuna who was the owner prior to the shares being vested in the Whanau Trust. (You should get confirmation of ownership from the Maori Land Court if there is any doubt.) If the registered owner is a Whanau Trust attach a copy of the Court Vesting / Succession Order.
