1 MUT Invitational Tournament 2014 Official Rules NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. This is a head-to-head tournament offered on the Xbox 360 computer entertainment system, Xbox One all-in-one game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 computer entertainment systems (each a Platform or Platforms ). 1. Entry. To enter the MUT INVITATIONAL (the Tournament ), either log on to the website (the Site ) between 9:00 a.m. PST on March 24, 2014 and 9:00 p.m. PST on MARCH 31, 2014 and follow the instructions to submit your address, GamerTag or PSN ID and Platform to register for the Tournament (each an Entry or Entries ). Participants will be selected based a combined total of coins earned through 9:00 p.m. PST on MARCH 31, 2014, games won/lost, average points for/against, and percentage of games not finished to completion. Sponsor cannot guarantee that all participants will be able to participate. No other methods of entry will be accepted. Limit: one entry per person and/or address. Completed Entries must be received by 9 p.m. PST on MARCH 31, Eligible Tournament participants will be notified of their acceptance by an sent to the address specified on the entry form within 1 week before the Tournament date, or within 24 hour(s) before Tournament play begins. Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Use of a false account will disqualify an entry. Sponsor is not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, lost, late, illegible, misdirected, garbled or delayed electronic or other communications or other technical problems related to website entries. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process or the operation of the Site, or who otherwise violates these rules. By entering, all entrants, registrants, contestants, Finalists and Winners (each a Participant or Participants ) accept and agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules, the decisions of the judges and to be contacted by Sponsor by , mail and/or telephone. All winners will be selected by Sponsor or its designee, the judge of the Tournament, whose decisions are final and binding. In the event that a Participant cannot participate in competition at any level of play, for whatever reason, Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to select a substitute Participant (including, at Sponsor s discretion, 2 nd or 3 rd place or losing Participants of previous rounds), modify the Tournament structure as necessary or reschedule Tournament play. All Participants must follow Sponsor s directions. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any Participant from participation in competition at any level, any time and for any reason. 2. Eligibility. Tournament registration and play is only open to residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Employees of Electronic Arts Inc., and its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, representatives, advertising, promotion and publicity agencies ( Sponsor and its agents ) and the immediate family members and persons in the same household of each are not eligible. Void where prohibited, restricted or taxed by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. 3. Play Instructions; Tournament Structure. Sponsor will present play instructions, any mandatory game play settings, and game controller directions during the Tournament introduction prior to commencement of play via . Participants are responsible for understanding game controllers.

2 Qualifying Rounds For Each Platform: April 8, 2014 to APRIL 15, A. Participants are allowed to select their roster at time of tournament sign-up. B. Players have 72 hours from the start of each round to coordinate and complete a match. A Match has 4-minute quarters AND IS all-pro difficulty. The winner will be decided by outright points scored against their opponent. Standard head-to-head season rules apply. C. Participants will be paired up and assigned their order of play by Sponsor. Participants will compete and be eliminated through head-to-head competitive play. All tournament play will follow a single elimination format. Each Participant will have one opportunity to play and qualify for the final tournament competition (the Finals ). The winner of each game will progress to the next round until a final winner is determined. D. In the event of a tie, the same match will be replayed until a winner is decided. E. 2 qualifying round winners (each a Finalist ) for each Platform will be notified via within 7 days of all matches ending, provided instructions and invited to participate in the Finals. Finals For Each Platform: May 8-9, A. Finalists must use the same roster selected upon initial entering of the tournament. B. Finals will be played at Tiburon Studio in Orlando, FL. Finalists will be paired up and assigned their order of play by Sponsor. Finalists will be eliminated through competitive play. The winner of each match will progress to the next round until a final winner (the Winner or Finals Winner ) is determined. Standard head-to-head season rules apply. A match has 4-minute quarters and is All-Pro difficulty. C. Winner will be decided by points scored against their opponent. D. There will be four (4) Finals Winners (1 per Platform) notified by Sponsor following conclusion of Finals play. 4. Prizes. There are 8 Finalist prizes and 4 Finals Winner prizes. 8 Finalist Prizes: Each qualifying round Finalist will receive 1 in-game player of your choice, and a prize trip to the EA Tiburon studio in Orlando, FL to participate in the Finals Tournament May 8-9, Each prize trip includes a trip for each Winner to Orlando, FL. Trip includes roundtrip, economy/coach class airfare for winner from the major commercial airport near the Winner s residence; hotel accommodations for 3 days / 2 nights (one (1) double occupancy room) at a hotel determined by Sponsor and includes ground transportation and three (3) meals per day. Incidentals, including, without limitation: telephone calls, facsimile charges, Internet charges, spa/beauty salon services, laundry, tours/excursions, gift shop purchases, hotel processing fees, airline service charges and any other expenses not mentioned in these Official Rules are the sole responsibility of the Winner. Hotel and airfare cannot be used separately. Winner must notify Sponsor of intended dates of travel when returning the signed Declaration of Eligibility and Release of Liability and Publicity. Winner must be able to participate in the Finals Tournament on May 8-9, 2014 or prize will be forfeited in its entirety. Travel and accommodations are subject to availability and certain restrictions, so Sponsor cannot guarantee prize trip will be available on the exact dates specified by Winner. Any extra nights stay and any additional costs associated with an extended stay are the sole responsibility of the Winner. Additional restrictions may apply. Approximate retail value ( ARV ) of each Finalist prize is $1645. Actual value of prize trip may vary depending on each Finalist s residence and seasonal rates.

3 Four (4) Finals Winners will each receive 1,000,000 in-game coins, in-game Legendary bundle, and an EA apparel pack which includes an EA T-shirt, jacket and hat. In-game coins may require acceptance of a Digital Services Agreement. ARV of each Winner s prize is $200. Prizes are not transferable. No substitution of prize for cash or other goods and services is permitted, except Sponsor reserves the right to provide a substitute prize of approximately equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable. Apparel sizes are within the sole discretion of Sponsor and subject to availability. All taxes, including without limitation, federal, state and local taxes, and international tariffs, are the sole responsibility of the individual Finalist/Winner. Finalists/Winners will be required to complete and sign a Declaration of Eligibility and, except where prohibited, Liability/Publicity Release, in the form provided by Sponsor, within 7 days of winning in order to claim prize. If a Finalist/Winner is 18 or older, as required, but a minor in his or her state of residence, Finalist/Winner s parent or legal guardian will be required to sign all necessary releases, consents and declarations. If Finalist/Winner cannot be contacted, is contacted and does not respond as directed within 7 days of attempted notification, refuses the prize or is ineligible to accept the prize, prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate Finalist/Winner. EA retains the discretion to donate the applicable prize to a charity of Sponsor choosing. All prizes claimed in accordance with the Official Rules will be awarded. Finalists/Winners may be required to provide a U.S. shipping address to claim prize. Allow one (1) week for delivery of prize. 5. General Conditions. Sponsor and its agents are not in any way responsible or liable for damages, loss or injury resulting from participation in this Tournament by any Participant or from the acceptance, possession, shipping and handling, loss, use or mis-use of any prize awarded in this Tournament. By entering each Participant assumes sole liability for injuries, including, without limitation, personal injuries and/or damage to property, caused or claimed to be caused by participating in this Tournament or the acceptance, possession, shipping and handling, loss, use or mis-use of any prize awarded. Sponsor has the right to cancel, terminate or modify this Tournament if it cannot be completed as planned due to computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, technical failures, or other conditions beyond Sponsor's control,. Sponsor is not responsible for any failure to contact Participants, whether due to technical or human error. By entering this Tournament, each Participant consents to the posting and use of his or her name and/or photograph on Sponsor s website and in any and all media in and in connection with promotion, publicity and advertising for Madden 25 and Electronic Arts Inc. this Tournament or other promotions by Sponsor without any further attribution, additional notification or compensation, except if any Finalist/Winner is a resident of TN or otherwise where prohibited by law. Sponsor may film, record and/or take photographs during the Tournament, and may use the resulting footage, recordings or photographs for a range of purposes, including, without limitation, for marketing and promoting Sponsor and its products and services. By attending the Tournament, each Participant authorizes Sponsor to film, record and/or photograph his or her voice and likeness ("Image"), and also grants Sponsor the irrevocable right to use any footage, recordings or photographs of him or her recorded or taken during the Tournament, or any reproduction or modification thereof (collectively, the "Recordings") in any manner and medium throughout the world an unlimited number of times in perpetuity for advertising, trade, promotion, exhibition or any other lawful purpose. By attending the Tournament, each Participant further waives any right of inspection or approval of the uses to which Sponsor may put the Recordings, and releases Sponsor from any and all claims arising out of or in connection with the Recordings, the Participant s Image or Sponsor s use thereof. The Tournament is governed by the laws of the United States and all claims must be resolved in the United States. If there is a dispute regarding the identity of a Participant who completed an online entry form, the entry will be deemed submitted by the person in whose name the account is registered.
