Short Story: One of the partners of an internet marketing company gave his son some work to do in the business to make a little holiday cash. In the process of doing that work he had access to all the training in the memberships and used his initiative to look at all the aspects of the training and try a little marketing of his own. As most of his time online is spent socializing with others through social media networks Twitter and Facebook, as well as hours spent on his favorite forums commenting and replying to other people s comments and posts, it was suggested to him that he might like to use some of that time more productively and make money from those same people. It had to be easy and it had to be fun so everyone had a talk and brainstormed what he would be interested in doing. He didn t like selling He did like working He didn t like creating websites He didn t want to create a product

3 He didn t want to build a list All he wanted to do was TALK or more precisely type stuff to people who were interested in the same things he was interested in. There was one upside to all this Young people like to spend money If there s something they want, they will spend money now and they never seem to have a shortage of funds to buy stuff they think they should have, whether they need it or not so that was one of the major benefits for him with his interests. Fortunately this method can be used in any market and for any age group, provided the people in the market are able to spend money and have the money to spend, so you wouldn t want to be targeting a market where everyone is under 18 and no one has a credit card or any way of paying for stuff. Alternatively this can be used for generating an Adsense income if you wish. To test this plan affiliate marketing was the choice but this training will teach you to keep an open mind because you can apply this to anything you like so always do a little thinking outside the square. So let s say for instance that you decide to market to golfers: What you would do is find out what the main problems are for golfers, e.g. Golf Swing, Putting, Chipping, Slicing the ball, Hooking the Ball, Getting out of Bunkers, the mindset for getting over water hazards, etc and then use this form of marketing to get experts to give YOU the information that you would need to create your own highly desirable info product that addresses these problems. It will also give you the chance to get the people who have helped you create the product, to promote it for you, for a commission through their own sites and lists of customers. So the opportunities for this are endless but for now we will keep it super simple and show you how to find targeted traffic without any effort at all and then convert that traffic into money. You can then take this basic plan and adapt it to any business you have and use it to build any part of your business that needs a boost.

This sidesteps the cost of paying for traffic and it also sidesteps the time delays in SEO (search engine optimization) although as you continue to do this marketing you will find that you will be getting the additional spinoff of back links and content indexing that will bring in additional free search engine traffic. It is a business model that will grow as you use it more and the amount of time you need to spend using it is minimal and could be a good replacement for the time otherwise wasted doing non productive stuff online each day. It s simple enough to do from your mobile devices too and that is something to think about as the convenience of being able to operate a profitable income stream from anywhere, at any time, is appealing to those who like the freedom of being away from the office. The first thing you need to do is find the market of choice and that is really easy because this method is all about getting results fast and to get results fast you want a lot of targeted traffic NOW So you will be looking at hot trends because they are where all the traffic is RIGHT NOW! You need to be targeting bulk traffic and traffic that is at a high interest point and by that I mean, the people who are talking about the topic are overly interested in anything about that topic and they are more likely to spend money than people who are only interested in it in passing. So how does this relate to the previous example of the golf market? Golf is always a hot trend so markets like that I like to call Evergreen High Interest Markets where there will always be a massive amount of interest and a massive amount of opportunity to make money all year, every year. Rising trends are things like the latest hot toy for Christmas where everyone is talking about it NOW and everyone wants it, so all you need to do is get people to buy it through your affiliate link because. You know where there is free shipping Or you know where they can get it for a discount from places like Amazon or through Commission Junction Or you know where they can get it through your ebay link Or you know where there is something else similar that is just as good Or you know what else they need to have with that thing that will make them that much happier than everyone else because most other people don t have that extra something that you know where to find it. I hope you can see the way of thinking needed to make a lot more money. There are so many opportunities to generate an income from hot traffic that once you start thinking about it the ideas will start to come, but for now let s just get the traffic.

5 First step is to find what s hot Google is a good place to start with GoogleTrends You can look at the lists of Hot Topics to see whether there is anything of interest to you and whether the things that do interest you have an opportunity to make money think outside the square so you don t miss any opportunities. The hotter the market, the more people there will be and the more people, the more opportunities to make money from the direct and indirect opportunities. Go to Clickbank.com or to see if there are any affiliate opportunities that you can offer people within those hot markets. If you decide to target an Evergreen High Interest Market then there will usually be a lot of available products or services to cater for your needs.

6 If you want to work this business on a larger scale then you should consider finding what is missing in the market and creating your own products to fill the need, or at least get other experts to offer their advice and input to create your own experts interview product. That s as easy as sending a message to the people you will be conversing with, when using this form of marketing, and asking them what their expert opinion is on a list of questions that you can ask them, with the benefit to them being inclusion in your ebook that they can also sell and promote for a commission. 7 Trendybing for another Look at Google Trends Another trend finder is and this is also based on Google Trends but it is good to have a look (only takes seconds to do) to see the Fast Rising Trends. Often you can get a ton of traffic from these fast rising trends in a very short time and cash-in while they are on the move up. Once again look at the trends with an open mind and look for opportunities. There is always a massive amount of traffic for these trends so even small conversions can result in a lot of money fast.

8 Twitter Trends The next site to look at is Twitter because that is where conversations are happening RIGHT NOW and to find hot trends on Twitter there are some sites that make it really easy to get a good overview of the big traffic generators and they are and

You can also click through to see what the trends were like for other days of the week to see what is consistently coming up in the results As with any form of marketing the initial investigation work you do before starting will have a huge bearing on your results and this method of marketing makes it so easy to do all that investigation work in minutes, so in less time than it will take to read this guide, you should have enough info to make good decisions and know what traffic you will be targeting. 10 Newsmap for the Latest Hot News This next site is fantastic because it will show you at a glance the latest hot news as represented by the size of the text relating to the relevant news topics. The site is and it aggregates Google News. The more popular the news is, the bigger the text and in the image above you will see that all you need to do is hover your mouse over the words and you will get a popup with a summary of the news item. It is super fast and one of the best ways to make sure you re taking advantage of what people are talking about.

11 I always use USA as the main market for any of my information gathering but Newsmap.jp allows you to look at the news for specific geographical areas with the links along the top of the page. You should also use the search option at the top of the page once you chose your target market to see what else people are saying and where they are saying it because many of the sites that display news also have the option to leave comments and enter into their discussions to generate traffic flow to your site You can see that once you enter a search term all the results will relate to that term with the most important news items for that topic once again shown as the largest size words. Once you get your blog ready you can come back to these sites to steer the traffic to it. Your blog can be a free Blogger blog where people will be able to leave comments and enter into discussions with you, but more importantly they will have the opportunity to make you money. If there aren t a lot of results when you enter a search term then it isn t a newsworthy item and you will need to do some more research before deciding whether to pursue that topic or not. Have a look at the following search for Affiliate Marketing and you will see what I mean as expected, a blank screen and no results

12 Now that does not always mean the topic is not worth pursuing because there are many places online where there are ongoing conversations about affiliate marketing and there are certainly hundreds of opportunities to make money from that niche so you need to look at all of the sites I m talking about here before making a decision. Note: If you want to get serious about making a very tasty side income from internet marketing and you don t have much time to devote to it, you should definitely check out my Affiliate Marketing With Roy Carter! training. This only takes minutes to do, so to miss this step (the market research step) out of the plan could cost you time and money. WARNING: Don t get concerned if your topic doesn t appear in the news as displayed on Newsmap.jp if other research shows that it is a hot topic because it might be that a lot of people are talking about it and want to know more about it but it isn t a newsworthy topic. If you did keyword research (and I suggest you do not waste time doing that in this method) unless your keyword research showed that thousands of people are searching for a keyword, it could still show zero results in Newsmap.jp simply because it is not a NEWSWORTHY TOPIC. This is one of the fastest ways to get traffic with very little time and no risk of losing cash on paid advertising.

13 Here is a summary of the steps you will take: 1. Find out what is hot what people are talking about and what information people are seeking 2. Set up the Google Alerts for as many theme relevant topics that relate to your hot market and get them sent at least once a day. 3. Find appropriate ways to monetize the traffic that you will be getting with either affiliate sales, CPA offers, Adsense or if you want to build a really long-term income for financial security choose a market that is evergreen and start building a list of subscribers 4. Create a simple Blogger blog or if you like a Wordpress blog and add some content that will be either of the following a. Controversial to get people to comment and keep coming back b. Informative so people want to come back to get more information or join your list c. Unusual, funny or otherwise so people will want to share it with others d. Conversational so that people will want to leave comments on your blog thereby building your content for free and helping you to get more traffic and income potential e. Anything else that you can think of in your target market that will make people want to comment, share with others, come back again, join your list, click on your links and ads, buy from your affiliate recommendation or any other form of action that you want them to take that will ultimately lead to you making more money 5. Link back to the places you ve left comments, so if you leave a comment on someone else s blog create a post on your blog and leave a link to theirs. The quickest way to do this is just take a small snippet of content from their blog post in quotes (just enough words to give them a link) and link that to their post. Don t steal content just a small snippet, commenting on that snippet and link back to them for the whole article 6. At the TOP of your blog or in a very prominent position have your MONEY LINK something you can make money from or better still an opt in form to capture names and addresses to build your list. 7. Use the alerts to quickly give you information to create your own blog posts so you don t need to do any research and you don t need to search for any ideas. Simply rewrite the same stuff in your own words keeping the content very small (micro blogging) and using relevant words for your market in the Blog Title and in the content of the blog but make sure that every post you create encourages people to leave their own comments too as mentioned in point 4 above. 8. Bookmark your posts as you create them 9. Bookmark the people that you link to 10. Bookmark the places where you leave comments. As always, depending on your market, the content you create and the comments you leave, you can start getting traffic immediately because you re tapping into the traffic that is already going to established sites,

14 so don t be surprised if you start doing well immediately HOWEVER you need to take this seriously if you want to continue making money from any site that you create and that will only happen TWO WAYS Two Ways to Ensure Success 1) You need to consistently create new posts on a daily basis and comment on other peoples blogs on a daily basis (at least initially) a. That will get the momentum going and before long your traffic will continue to build from: i. Other peoples blogs ii. From bookmarks and other people sharing iii. From people who will continue to come back to your blog on a regular basis to read the content and leave their own comments and iv. From the search engines as your content gets indexed and ranked. 2) If you build a list from the visitors who come to your site you will have a database that you can continue to contact and sell to on a long term basis over and over again with simple marketing. IMPORTANT: To build a list you will need to do step one first and consistently make posts and comments on a daily basis (for a while anyway) to make sure you get the traffic, but this is a REALLY EASY BUSINESS and it only takes minutes a day to read the alerts find places to comment leave some comments that will get a reaction and create micro posts on your own blog There is nothing hard about that and once you start making money from it the return for the amount of time that it will take to keep the money flowing is minimal. This model can be built into a much bigger business particularly if you choose an evergreen market where there are always people looking for information and then focusing on the trends and the news within that evergreen market.

15 What can you expect from this form of marketing for generating traffic? Consistency is important for this to work, at least until you get the momentum going, but following this process, to test its efficiency on a website with Webalizer stats to see the results, this is what happened This screen shot was grabbed on the 9 th December so all the stats for that day have yet to be recorded but you can see that the traffic started quickly and increased to a level of between 378 and 582 visitors daily, remaining consistent.

16 Even 300 visitors a day would be 9000 for the month and that is just from a few minutes work each day with no research and absolutely nothing technical required. Now consider what you could do with an extra 300 people visiting your website each day? That offers the potential to build a reasonable list, make a reasonable income from Affiliate commissions, CPA offers or even Adsense ads. Traffic is the lifeblood of your business and this is fast, easy, free traffic that you can tap into immediately. The best thing about this traffic is the fact that it is SUPER TARGETED. What could be more targeted than people who are reading your comments and coming to your site because of those comments? What could be more targeted than getting the people who are already visiting Theme Relevant websites to come to your site from those established and high traffic sites that are getting spidered each day by Google and getting their updates sent to you via Google s Alerts? These sites that get their content sent to you from Google Alerts are sites that Google thinks you should hear from, and they certainly are, because getting your links on those sites is exactly what you need to do to get Google to consider your site relevant too. I m sure you can see the major side benefit from implementing this business model When you get links and give links to and from other theme relevant sites, and when you get people commenting on your site and leaving theme relevant content for free, Google will love you and your pages will rise in the search engines. So not only will you be getting direct traffic from the comments you leave, you will also start to get free traffic from Google and the other search engines. PLUS: You will start appearing in Google Alerts too and other people will link to and from your site just as you are doing. If you re building a REAL Business and collecting a database of subscribers, this is one of the best ways to do so for free and ensure that the people you have on your lists are highly motivated prospects that you will be able to make money from (provided you choose a buying market) If you simply want to make cash NOW then this is also one of the best ways to get free traffic fast. Here s something that you should seriously consider: If you already have a business online, this plan will be an easy fit with that business because in almost any market you can get alerts and start interacting with other people in the same market to expand your base of customers.

17 You don t need a lot of people to make a lot of money if you re in the right market where people like to spend or those who buy are willing to pay a lot of money for what they want and getting over 300 visitors a day is good traffic that you can monetize. It is also a business that you can scale up to some extent by adding more alerts to your list or building new sites for a new area of promotion. I suggest you stick to one market if you decide to do that, so you re always thinking and writing on the same topics. It becomes second nature really fast and the less you have to think, the more you will get done faster and easier and that will allow you to make more money. ALSO: If you have more than one site and they are all theme related, they can link to one another and all will help each section of the business become more effective. Obviously the more sites you add, the more work you will have to do, but that is to be expected because along with that will be an increased income. It s possible to outsource the work if you can find someone cheap who can write the comments for you and add the posts to your blog. It s not hard, but you should get someone who writes content that caters for the requirements I mentioned earlier so you get some action and reaction from the readers. There are many good outsource workers available through sites like Odesk.com They would need access to your blog and the Google Alerts could come directly to their address.

18 Setting up the Alerts Once you ve decided on the market you re going to target, whether it is a seasonal trend or an evergreen market it s time to set up the Google Alerts so you get the content you need for your blogs and the links you need for your commenting. Go to Enter the main term that you want to get content for. You can set up as many of these alerts as you like because the more theme relevant content that you re getting to base your own content on, the easier it will be for you to create relevant blog posts and the more places that you receive alerts from the more places you will have to post your comments and get traffic and back links. For type: choose everything to get started and later, provided there are enough good blogs in your target market, you might decide to choose blogs only for the type section of the form. For how often: once a day is suitable because you will only be doing this once a day, preferably first thing in the day before anything else so you don t get sidetracked with other things and it helps to make sure that you are consistent because it is that consistency that will help the business to build momentum. For volume: choose all results because if you choose the alternative option of only the best results you could miss opportunities to leave comments on sites for traffic and back links PLUS sometimes some of the

19 sites that you get content from with all results will have a golden nugget that allows you to make more money by uncovering a hidden opportunity. It s probably best to have a separate address for the alerts to get sent to particularly if you re getting a lot of other s on a daily basis because that will make it easier to see what is coming in and help you to be focused and efficient. You don t want to have any distractions. Enter that address in the deliver to section of the form and they will start coming through each day. In the meantime you can create your blog. You can use either Wordpress or Blogger and you should allow for comments to be made to your blog. You can add other forms of monetization on any and every page of your blog in the form of Affiliate Offers, Adsense, Amazon links, CPA Offers and Optin forms to join your list. You need to make money wherever possible on this blog so don t be shy in putting money links everywhere. If your main intention is to get people to join your list (and this is what I would recommend) then focus just on the optin form and don t have other ads etc on the pages as they will only steer people away from getting on your list. At the end of this guide there is more information on the benefits of list building and you will see that you can build the list first and still monetize the people immediately after the optin, when they are sent to the thank you page. You can always add and remove ads and optin forms once you re up and running. For the fastest and easiest way to do this just create a free blogger blog by going to Blogger.com You can use Blogger pages to add a page that has some form of money making opportunity for you as a Thank You page after someone opts in to your list. GetResponse and AWeber give you the option to send people to a specific page after opting into your list and the page you create on Blogger (or Wordpress) will be the URL that you enter in either GetResponse or AWeber when you set up your list. I recommend Blogger for beginners in particular because it is so easy to create a Blogger blog even without any previous experience.

20 Here are a few points that I will note to make it easier for you: Select the Alerts that you want to receive. Here s an example of a market that is always HOT always has people sharing information, advice and commenting on stuff gives you a good opportunity to offer comments that others will read and comment on will make people want to link back to you if you comment on their stuff allows you to make comments that will cause people to take action, to go to your site, and leave their own comments and opinions has stuff for sale at Clickbank that you can promote including more stuff on Amazon is a buying market is a market where people are always searching for more information advice and techniques Here are some alerts for that market

21 And a quick search in Clickbank shows products you can promote $30.49 per sale for How to Render Cars in Photoshop Fast and Easy That s a good commission especially when you re getting over 300 fanatical and highly targeted visitors to your site daily from other popular websites.

22 You only need 3 sales a day to make $90 daily which is a good income for the amount of work that is required. That is just one example of a market there are thousands of opportunities out there and most people aren t taking advantage of the possibilities. In fact, a big percentage of the sites where you will be attracting your visitors are probably under-monetized they often do it just for the love of their hobby. Look at this: In the time that it took to create the alert and add the content since including the images above I already have 37 alerts for the terms I ve chosen By selecting All Results you might initially get a lot of content that isn t suitable for you but it only takes seconds to look through the alerts to see what is worthwhile or not and it only takes seconds to add, remove and edit your alerts so when you get started create as many alerts as you can and then delete the ones that aren t giving you the best results and keep the ones that are. If you find sites that are worthwhile visiting on a regular basis, bookmark them and get involved with the community because if you manage to be thought of as an AUTHORITY in the market, your credibility when commenting and your ability to make more money will boom. That is another reason to focus on one market, unless you re only doing seasonal marketing or rising and hot trends. Preferably you will be targeting seasonal, hot AND rising trends WITHIN AN EVERGREEN MARKET.

23 A quick look in Amazon.com now to see what you can promote and it shows more than enough opportunities to make money While you won t earn as much commission from Amazon products, they sell really well because Amazon is a trusted brand and they have one of the best promotional machines driving their sales with other recommendations, follow-ups and more

24 In any market where you find stuff converting well you should always consider creating your own product so you make 100% of the income and others can also promote your product for you. That is more advanced stuff but I would like you to know the possibilities that are available once you get this going. In most popular markets, people will be interested in buying magazines or other media when they are interested in a topic so consider offering promoting subscriptions to those people too. How long did the affiliate research take? A few minutes at the most it s that easy. With this method, don t waste time looking at things like Gravity and Average % per Sale in Clickbank - Just choose the top products and promote them first. They didn t get there (generally) by being duds yes I know there are some shonky products that sell well in Clickbank but for the most part, and particularly outside the Make Money Market the products at the top are sound. Your time is better spent leaving comments and getting traffic. In Amazon, if you pick the right markets there are some very big commissions to be made.

25 Have a look in the prices in this example There are many products available in Amazon that are priced well enough to make a decent commission and quite often it is easier to get people to buy the higher priced stuff than low priced items and you don t need as many people or sales to make more money.

26 Here s an Example: The Forex market is a market where people spend a lot of money on information over and over again. It s maybe not a market for absolute beginners but it is a market where a lot of money can be made and here s why: From the Clickbank marketplace See the Average $/sale? $574.89, $485.53, $410.45, $ They re better commissions than from ebooks in the markets most marketers target. For many people, only one sale a month would earn them more than they are earning now. For most people, the way they know to get traffic would be too hard in those markets, so that s why they settle for markets that promote cheap $47 ebooks. The PPC costs are too high and the search engine ranking is too hard for many marketers because they don t know what to do.

When someone is paying for a service, or supplements, or a membership and you get a commission from that member they are as good, if not better, than a name and address on your database. They are essentially a buying member of your list because you know that every month they pay money for whatever they have chosen to subscribe to, you will make money. You don t need to send them a newsletter You don t need to promote stuff to them (although you certainly can do that as well) You just need to sit back and collect your commissions. With this form of marketing you only need it to find buying keywords in your niche for optimized blog posts that will attract free search engine traffic. In fact in some areas of marketing these days I steer people away from keyword research and tell them to do people research Find out what people are talking about and you will know what they want. You will use the buying keyword in the title of the post and in the body of the post.

31 The ACTIVITY on your blog, from the links to and from your blog, to the comments people will leave tells Google that you have something worthwhile and while they re indexing your blog (because it is good and relevant) they will also be indexing your micro posts that are focused on buying keywords they are words that people will type into the search engine when they want to buy something. Here s an easy way to find buying keywords in your market: Let s assume you want to buy Golf Clubs You go to Google and what would you type in? What do YOU think will give you the solution you re after? For me I would type in words like Ping G15 Ping i15 Ping Anser Ping S56 Or else I would type in words like Best price golf clubs Where to get golf clubs cheap Discount golf clubs Cheap golf clubs Golf Club deal That s a few examples to give you some ideas. Product names mean the potential buyer is further down the decision funnel and ready to buy something. Using words like cheap, discount, where to get, etc all mean someone is looking to spend money. Obviously there will be different words used in the various markets so YOU need to walk in the shoes of the buyer. YOU need to find things to BUY and be aware of what YOU do to find those products and services that your visitors will also be looking for. You can still use the Keyword Tool but start with Common Sense Searching because that is what is natural in your market.

32 I did a quick search using the Google Keyword Tool and as you can see from the image above (and as expected because of the keyword entered) most of the keywords are buying keywords so people searching for those words are more than likely to spend money. These are the words that you would use to create your micro posts on your blog just for the search engines. If you can thread those words into the comments you leave elsewhere and create a blog post using those words along with some other content that is worthwhile, then that will keep your visitors and the search engines happy. An example of this would be a comment like I bought used golf clubs and find them better than the Ping set I bought from new. I don t like Ping clubs and most of the people I know don t like them either That s just an example, but you can see that I ve included the term used golf clubs and the term ping clubs and at the same time I ve also created a post that will encourage people (particularly those fond of Ping clubs) to comment. The title could even be Used Golf Clubs better than New Ping Clubs It s easy to do and gets easier the more you do it. Once again all of your research will be done for you when you get the alerts and go to the sites that are already getting the traffic. If the alert is talking about the new Ping Anser then you know what to write about don t you?

33 This is actually a fun business and here s something that might surprise you. Do you know any people who love to argue? They can be a real pain in the butt. No matter what you say they will take the opposite side and stir things up. They seem to relish in getting people riled up. Well Those types of people do very well at this type of marketing. Opinionated people do very well at this type of marketing. WHY? Because any comment is an opportunity for them to express their opinion and in doing so it makes others want to express theirs too. Don t think people won t buy from you if they don t like what you say. They could be furious with your comments but if they see an advertisement that has something that agrees with their opinions they will be only too happy to find out more. They will also often feel the need to come back to your site to see what else has been written and then leave their comments again. WHY do people leave comments on blogs? Apart from doing it to get back links they will leave comments for a few reasons They like the blog, or more importantly the person running the blog and because of that they are happy to leave comments, offer their opinion, thank you or just generally converse as friends would do The person running the blog, and the content on the blog, really annoys them and they need to give their side of the story because they are right! They consider the blog to be an authority in the market They are really passionate about the topic of the blog o Porsches o Radio Controlled Helicopters, etc There are two sides to the topic and they have strong opinions about one of those sides Examples: o Children should be disciplined o Children should not be disciplined They find the blog controversial whether positively or negatively and it attracts their attention enough to make them want to keep coming back to see what the next surprise is and comment on it. Examples of this would be

34 o Blogs that target celebrities o Blogs that target people, politics, organizations, events, products etc No one wants BORING You need to get people to take action and bored people are more inclined to fall asleep than buy something. If you tell a bored Porsche fanatic that Porsche are unreliable and expensive to maintain, he or she will become un-bored in an instant and let you know the truth as they see it. If you offer an argument to their opinions you start a conversation. It might not always be a pleasant conversation but it has created action and interaction and that leads to traffic, comments, links, more traffic, and MONEY from some of that traffic. People follow people, so a blog that is getting people visiting and commenting, will get even more people coming to see what is going on from many different sources. This business plan thrives on the momentum that it generates and that momentum comes from the people so the normal sources of traffic the search engines (both paid and free) don t figure in the traffic to get this up and running but eventually they will also be attracted to the activity and help to generate more traffic too. Once again I want to emphasize THE IMPORTANCE OF CONSISTENCY Don t do it for a day and leave it for a week. Do it for a week and then do it for another and watch the traffic build fast. It s not hard driving to work in rush hour traffic is hard Getting told when and where to work is hard. Getting up early in the morning and doing something you don t like all day is hard. Getting information sent to your address and writing a blog post and some comments THAT S EASY This whole business plan is easy from the start and all it needs is a little push each day to keep it building.

35 Building a REAL Business Most people will start this business plan with the intention of generating some cash flow, but I always like to optimize any income earning potential to the fullest because it is easy to build on what you ve got, to make MORE money, than it is to constantly work at getting more traffic and people to your websites on a daily basis to generate your income. You ve probably guessed in reading that paragraph that I am going to talk about list building. I personally use every form of marketing possible for ONE MAIN Purpose To build lists and this method that you ve just been taught is a great way to build highly targeted lists. To do that you will need an autoresponder service and the two I have used are GetResponse and AWeber They are both exceptional services and they make life REALLY easy by handling all the stuff that you don t need to know about and allowing you to easily get people to subscribe to your lists so you can easily send them newsletters which will give you to the opportunity to make more sales. I will go as far as to say that if you don t have an autoresponder, you don t have a financially stable business. The best asset you can have in your business is a database of customers (their names and addresses) because that allows you to market to them over and over again. I teach about recycled traffic in Affiliate Marketing With Roy Carter! and I mention the effectiveness of it all the time but let s use an example to show you how you can Make MUCH MORE MONEY with the ability to Recycle Traffic. WEBSITE Example 1: Attracts traffic through the process of Hot Trends Quick Cash Method and in the course of the month 9000 people come to the site. NOTE: You will find that many people come back often, just because of the way that you are marketing, but for the purposes of this example we will say that you have 9000 new visitors to your site in the month. You present them with a CPA offer that pays you $2 and 3% take action and you earn money from them. So 2% conversions for 9000 people = 180 conversions at $2 and you earn $360 for the month. I m only using small numbers here just for this example, you can and should be making considerably more than that by following the most basic version of this plan where you re just cashing in the customers as soon as you can.

36 WEBSITE Example 2: Attracts the same number of people but instead of trying to make an immediate sale goes for the list building by encouraging people to leave their name and address in return for some benefit, which could be more information, a free download, even just to see what else you have to say. So the conversion rates for this will be higher, particularly if you re offering something in return for their name and address (and that could be a PLR report you have, or a Quick PDF on the topic of interest) So let s say that of those 9000 visitors the same 2% of people in Example 1 join your list. You immediately send them to a thank you page that has the same CPA offer on it that was in Example 1 so you get the same income immediately but you also get them on your list and that allows you to send them more newsletters. Now you send them some more information, having already made the same income as in Example 1 of $360, and this gives you the opportunity to send them to another page where there is something else on it that could make you money. Maybe it is another CPA offer, or it could simply be some interesting information that they would like to read about and an Adsense ad on it that will generate some income. Maybe you could find an affiliate offer that could earn you $20, $40, $60 or more per sale. You ve immediately opened up an additional source of income that is on tap and anytime you send an you have the potential to make money. You don t have to wait for people to come to you you can go to them and tell them to look at a particular page, or recommend a product or service. But it gets even better: Because next month you will collect another 180 people (or more) on your list and when you send an it will be to 360 people the month after 540 people and so on. The BUSINESS is always building and along with that the potential to make a lot more money. Your BUSINESS ASSET is getting bigger and it is that BUSINESS ASSET (your list) that will create the consistency in your income. Previously I mentioned that if you create more websites based on this plan you should make them all relevant to the one same market Remember? One of the benefits of doing that is: You can collect the people from all of those websites into your autoresponder service and if you find something relevant for the whole market you can send a newsletter to all of them at once. You can promote and recommend something to everyone on all your lists and that gives you the opportunity to make a lot more money in one big hit.

37 Both GetResponse and AWeber allow you to segment your lists too so you can send specific offers to certain parts of your list as required. This is not an marketing course but it is something that you should seriously consider doing if you want to quit a day job, or even if you just want to make a lot more money a lot more easily. The cost of investment in an autoresponder service is irrelevant when compared to the income that is can help you to generate.

38 What Do You Write in a Newsletter? For anyone who hasn t done marketing that is the first question that pops into their mind and along with that thought, generally comes a fear that they can t do it. It s probably because so many marketers make a song and dance about the need for this, that or the other to be a successful marketer, but the truth of the matter is you just need to write like you re sending an to a friend with information that they will be interested in. Now that s not hard at all is it? It s called a conversation marketing is all about conversing with friends and at the same time, offering help in the form of recommendations of things that will improve their life in one form or another. That help can otherwise be called SELLING YES you re helping people when you recommend stuff to them that they will buy if it improves their life and doing that well is called GOOD BUSINESS. So there are two things that overcoming a fear of will be responsible for helping you make a whole lot more money. One is marketing and the other is selling stuff. Get good at both as soon as possible.

39 How Active Should You Be? It doesn t matter what form of marketing is being taught, there will always be people who will want specific numbers for everything How many blog posts should be created How long should the posts be How often should the blog be updated How many alerts should there be Etc, etc, etc Here s the best answer The more alerts you get that are highly targeted to your market the better. Because it doesn t take very long to do, you should comment on as many alerts as possible, wherever they are coming from because that will make you NOTICED in the market. You should try to BRAND yourself and become an AUTHORITY in the market. The more often people see and hear about you the better. Obviously the more blog posts you do the more chance you will have of getting more traffic but your first priority is to get people to know about you and that will come from the content you leave on sites other than your own. In its most basic form you could create a blog that focuses on just one thing that could even be ONE SPECIFIC PRODUCT MODEL and give the ability for people to leave comments on that blog about that one model. Then you can concentrate on leaving comments on other websites to get people to come to your laser targeted one product blog. A blog such as this can rank well very quickly in the search engines because it is so targeted and everything relating to that blog, from the links in the site to the links on other sites pointing into the blog will boost its importance. So the best way to apply this training as a beginner is to stay tightly focused and make sure you re the big noise in the market. When something happens you will know and comment about it. When something happens other people will know that you will be commenting about it.

40 When something happens people will look to you for comment and after a while when you say jump they will tend to jump. Consider this as a Mini Mass Marketing Control method of marketing where you attract the crowds and then control them through the status they give you in your chosen market whether that is a long term evergreen market or the latest hot trend. So that s your recipe for success: Fast easy traffic Ongoing traffic Zero Content Research No Keyword Research No Worrying About Google No paid traffic Simple Website And if you want to make lots more money the ability to capture leads for marketing. If you do this it will work The more you do it the better it will work If you follow the plan it s easy to make money from this form of marketing AND You Can Get Started Right NOW!

41 Example Project: Searched Google Trends and got the following results The term power of ideas is so HOT it is Volcanic There are news articles and blog posts about it so I will go to Google Alerts to set up the content flow

42 By clicking on the preview results link I can instantly see there are 26 new results for power of ideas I will now take a quick look in Google Search to see what sites relate to this search term and I find that it relates to the website Now I need to have a quick look to see whether there is any way I can instantly generate some money and I find that Amazon has some results for that term This is just the start and don t be concerned if there are only books available at Amazon where you will only earn a small commission because once you have a buyer you can usually sell them other stuff if it is relevant. Have a look at the next image and I will show you how to get the most out of Amazon sales by preselling other products first and then when your visitors go to Amazon they will get confirmation of your recommendation by Amazon and that is a trusted source and also social proof that others have already done what you are recommending.

43 Amazon has the best upsell process of anyone online and when you presell their upsell you have a higher conversion rate and that means more money for you, particularly when you re getting highly targeted traffic that is tightly focused around a specific niche that is hot and passionate. You can see that I ve highlighted Frequently Bought Together and Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought When you create a page that promotes an Amazon product, have a look at Amazon first and see what else they are encouraging people to buy. Once you do that, create your presell page for the main product and then also add content recommending the other products that are shown by Amazon to have been bought by the same people who have bought the main product.

44 Visitors to the page selling the main product are presented with what other people have also bought. This is Social Proof This is saying, others have done this and that suggest you should too. The reason you mention those other products on YOUR website is because the customer already has your recommendation in their mind when they get to Amazon. Amazon confirms your recommendation by providing social proof that others have done the same and as Amazon has a very high level of trust that is confirmation that you were right. So your potential customer has been told twice that they should do something, from you and a highly trusted source in Amazon and that increases the value of your sales and income. When this happens with higher priced items it can have a substantial effect on your profitability. I m showing you this because many people are so focused on the basics of getting their online business to work that they miss golden opportunities on the way to make more money from very little extra work.

45 The next simple step is to have a look at Clickbank to see what is available there. I type in the word ideas (the core keyword of that hot trend) and this is what I find Avg $/sale is $28.18 that s not bad considering the amount of traffic that I could get with this business so I will have a quick look at the sales page to give me an idea of what I can write on the blog to get people to take action This will give me the necessary research I need to presell the offer and the sales page itself is good for this one because it is not actually selling. They are offering a free sample that will get the potential buyers into the sales funnel and help convert more people into buyers. So within a few minutes I have: Found a Hot Trend Found there is content available and set up my Alerts Searched and found Amazon sales potential Noted additional Amazon upsell potential Found a Clickbank product that is relevant Checked to see that the alerts have arrived at my address And now it s time to go to Blogger to see what is available

46 A suitable name was available in power-of-ideas.blogspot.com Now it s time to create a simple blog, but first some settings You want people to leave comments because that is part of the conversation process of this form of marketing and it encourages traffic and interaction which will drive even more traffic so the following settings are what you should use. The image on the next page shows the settings.

47 Showing comments will encourage others to read them and in doing so leave their own comments. This is the way to build content and momentum for free. Let anyone comment because you will be getting traffic from many different places and a lot of those people won t have Google accounts or be registered to post. Others simply won t be bothered if there is anything that makes it more difficult for them to comment. The comment form should be embedded below the post because that makes it highly visual and encourages people to leave comments once again make it easy for people to add content to your blog. Show back links and click through on those back links to leave your comments on their sites. Now look at the image on the next page for the rest of the comment settings that you will need to apply to your blog

48 In the next part of the comment setup you can put a message on the comment form and this is useful if you want to encourage more people to take the time to add their comments. You can leave that blank or add additional text it s up to you. Have comment moderation on all the time just to stop people leaving totally irrelevant stuff on your blog. By irrelevant I mean spam. Don t disallow comments from people who disagree with what you say on your blog - you should accept their comments and then counter their opinions. This gets the conversation going and the more often this happens, the better for your traffic. You can enter your address in the next section and that will mean you will be notified as soon as comments are made, at which time you can accept and reply to them. Keep word verification on and show image profiles. That s it for that section once again only seconds to do this and you have a blog ready for people to view and comment on.

49 Under Settings > Formatting show 1 post on the main page If you are an absolute newbie you can easily monetize your site with the options that are available in Blogger for Adsense and Amazon. To get an Adsense account, make a few posts and then use the link from inside Blogger to sign up for Adsense.

50 You can also use the HopAd builder in Clickbank to promote Clickbank products easily. Go to this page for options And this page for more information You will be able to create ads like these: Enter your chosen market information

51 The tabs 1, 2 & 3 will appear across the top of the ad block with a preview shown at 4 above. NEXT: You can customize the ad to make it suit the colors of your site And then click NEXT to get the code click in the area of the code to highlight it and then copy that code to embed into your blog.

52 Now go to Blogger and do the following 1. Click on Design 2. Click on Page Elements 3. Click on Add a Gadget 4. A new screen will pop up 5. Scroll down and click on the HTML/JavaScript Link 6. A new Screen will popup and you will paste in your HopAd code that you got from Clickbank Now when you look at your blog you will have the Clickbank ad block at the top of your page in the most prominent place for people to see it.

53 This still leaves you room on the sidebar to add a code for an capture form, or Amazon advertising or anything else that you want to use for monetizing your blog. That space where I ve shown you to put the Clickbank ads could also be used for a CPA offer or even selling your own products and services. It can be used for anything the main purpose of this training is to show you how to get the fast, free and easy, highly targeted traffic. See the tabs at the top of the blog now with links to various Clickbank products that can earn a commission?

54 The following pages should be on all your sites to comply with the requirements of Google who you will begin to get free traffic from once your pages get indexed and your site becomes popular and collects back links. Contact Page Privacy Policy Terms and Conditions Page Do a Google search for Free Privacy Policy template and Free Website Terms and Conditions template etc You can use the same templates with a little adjustment on any site you own whether it is a Blogger blog, Wordpress blog or a Static Website. I am not a lawyer so use your own common sense and due diligence here. So all you need to do is create a page in Blogger for each of those pages and add the text Click Posting > Edit Pages and then New Page and create the pages. Blogger will automatically add the links to those pages to your blog unless you choose not to. For the purposes of this plan use the first (default) option as shown in the image below

55 You can use the remaining 7 pages of the 10 that are available in each Blogger account to create other pages that can be monetized in any manner that you choose. If you re using Wordpress (and I will assume you have enough knowledge of Wordpress to be able to create pages otherwise you would be using this Blogger plan) then use the same templates above and add those to your site with links to the pages in the footer or sidebar of your blog. Keep it simple and make sure you spend the time on the promotion of the blog through commenting, rather than on dressing it up with graphics etc that wouldn t help you to make any more money.

56 Price Points In most markets you will find that the variety of people who come to your site will all be in different financial positions and while one person might be able to pay $100 for something, another might struggle with a $20 item unless they re sure they can t do without it. This applies to any marketing you do, not just this plan. You will be able to make more money by selling higher priced items most of the time but that doesn t mean you should ignore the cash that the bottom spenders will be willing to pay you. Knowing that your site should offer products and services at all price points and if you re taking the more lucrative approach of marketing by collecting a database of subscribers, you should also offer a variety of products and services in all price ranges where possible. Often if someone buys something good at a lower price and they are happy with your recommendation and their purchase they will be more receptive to your recommendations of higher price items. You can t please all of the people all of the time but the more people you can please at any one time the more money you will make.

57 Super Lazy? Do This I was reluctant to add this page because almost anyone who is lazy is destined to fail. All good marketers work! There s no getting away from the fact that you have to spend time doing work even if it is organizing outsource workers. There is a way to do this plan even for a bone lazy person and that is to create a single page website with no ability to comment on that page but the page needs to be REALLY GOOD AT GETTING SOMEONE TO TAKE ACTION. So you could have a single presell website that encourages people to take action and if you re lazy and think it is too hard to collect addresses then the page would most likely be preselling an affiliate offer. Two things I must mention here: 1. Don t expect a lot of search engine traffic for a one page website as it s unlikely to happen unless you re in a super NON-competitive market would suggest you re not going to sell much anyway and 2. Try to focus on recurring income opportunities because if you re that lazy it s highly likely that the commenting on other peoples sites (as easy as it is) will stop after a while. So why did I add this page then? Because some people have such limited time that I would rather they did something (i.e. a static webpage) and focused on the commenting to start generating an income because it really is that easy.

58 Appropriate URL If you re using Blogger it s quite easy to quickly get appropriate URL s with the target market name in the name of the blog as I have already shown in this training. If you re hosting your own Wordpress blog or you re creating a Static Website then the name of your domain should be theme relevant for your target market. If you re targeting hot trends as they appear then it s not always viable to buy a domain just to get a suitable url so the alternative is to have a short name as the main domain name and have the page that you will be linking to named with a theme relevant term. EXAMPLES: Let s say you re targeting golf swing. With a Blogger blog you would try to find a name like golfswing.blogspot.com where the main term is in the url. If you want to use a wordpress blog you would buy a name like golfswing.com If you re targeting all sorts of hot trends you would get a nondescript domain name like abc.com and then add the main theme relevant term to the page name like this abc.com/golfswing.html In each situation you have the main term in the url and here s why: Theme relevance and anchor text back links are important for SEO (search engine optimization) Anchor text links are links that have the main search term in the text of the link. With a lot of the places where you will be commenting you will be able to leave your url on the comment but you won t be able to link it to some specific text (your preferred anchor text) so having the term in your url ensures Google and the other search engines still see the theme relevant keyword term linking back to your site and that helps with your ability to rank well in Google because you re building THEME RELEVANCE which is SO Important.

59 Notify Me of Follow-up Comments Via Many of the comment forms that you will come across will have the option to have follow-up comments ed to you when you make a comment yourself. When this option is available make sure you add your address (the one where you are getting your Alerts) When people reply to your comments or other comments on the website you will know immediately and that will allow you to stay in the conversation and add more of your own comments which will help to boost your authority status or at least get people to see your links more often and encourage them to see what your site is all about. The more times your comments and your links are seen, the more people will feel compelled to go to your site. The repetition helps to drive more traffic and you will probably already know that as most people have seen a link for a site and done nothing about it until they have seen it two or more times. Curiosity eventually gets people to click, provided of course they are interested in what you ve had to say. People are more interested in what you have to say when you re talking TO THEM as you would be doing by replying back to the comments that they have left. It becomes more personal when replying direct and the option to be notified by for any follow-up comments allows you to do that without having to check back manually all the time. As with the Google Alerts, the necessary information comes TO YOU. You don t need to waste your valuable time going out to find it. Finally, if you carry out what I ve taught you with this method and actually TAKE ACTION, you will find that you have something that will actually work for you, unlike some of the hypey, crappy products that are out there at the moment!
