13 Thoughts from the Chair

14 BSI Update In the UK, PAS and PAS were circulated for a public consultation that closed in February Over 800 comments were received, and the scale and nature of the comments has had a material impact on our publication schedule - we now expect to publish the updated PAS and PAS by June Internationally, BSI have been facilitating UK input and leadership on the development of international BIM standardization through ISO and CEN. The first two international standards for BIM, EN ISO (concepts and principles) and EN ISO (capital delivery phase of assets), are currently scheduled to be published in November 2018 and will be adopted in the UK as British Standards BS EN ISO and BS EN respectively. They have been based on the UK BIM standards BS 1192 and PAS respectively, and BSI is exploring with stakeholders how best to support the transition from UK to international standards.
