1 Websites to use for BC Economy project GENERAL -can click on the industry that matches and find a wealth of data including: overview, what impacts the industry, workforce, employment, work environment, earnings, location of work, employment outlook Encyclopedia of British Columbia -access from the public Riverside website -click on Library and enter school issued User ID and Password -click on the red icon Click Here! to access databases and catalogues -click on Encyclopedia of British Columbia under the heading Online Encyclopedias -on the top green toolbar, hover over Books and click on Encyclopedia of British Columbia -enter the following login riversiderapids and password library -on the left tool bar, click Subjects : now you can search for topics alphabetically AGRICULTURE -different resource guides with information; first one has lots ( Introduction to BC s Agriculture ) -resource on Agriculture in BC (PDF has history, specific information and maps about foods grown in BC and locations, ALR) -lots of different reports you can review; a good one is the Fast Stats nice intro video with some facts on agriculture in Canada (video is 1 min 14 sec) -some facts on agriculture in Canada; includes a section on BC agriculture and a map of what is grown across the country
