7 PRODUCT PROCESSING Milling - CNC processing Our portal milling machine is a 4-axis-machine that is optimally equipped with all technical refinements, and due to its size of 3000 x 2000 mm it can be customized to meet specific customer requests. This unit perfectly processes products made of aluminium, plastics and wood. Folding - CNC processing We are optimally equipped with the folding machine HFE-3i manufactured by AMADA to processing aluminium, stainless steel and steel. This ultramodern press brake with seven controlled axis is characterized by a number of innovative technical features such as the enlarged buildin-height, the active angel measurement system and several tool sets for aluminium, stainless steel and steel. Shearing The ultramodern guillotine shear AMADA GXII 1230 is a high-efficient and precise machine that enables us to carry out every specific application. This plate shear uses the experience of previous machines and exceeds their capability by far. Press-in operation Our press-in machine PEMSERTER 2000 processes almost all PEM-selfclinching fasteners as well as fastener made by other producers. It is common practice to use fastener from a sheet thickness of 0,5 mm onward. Welding We solve complex tasks in the welding area with accuracy and diligence. Regardless of whether you need individual parts or complete assemblies, it is possible to find solutions for even difficult and complicated challenges. Our in-house welding specialist is a International Welding Specialist, who acquired the re-certification of the welding approval according to DIN EN CL1 in March He is assisted by an external special welding engineer. Barrel finishing Our barrel finishing machine, processing small parts, operates with a high level of quality. Without additional and time-consuming handicrafts excellent results can be achieved. 9 QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM The quality management system of the MEWA GmbH has been re-certificated and adopted to the new standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 since March This certification is more than just a duty for us. We regard the confidence, acquired from our customers in the last few decades, as a everyday commitment. Of course, in doing so, we take into account legal and regulatory requirements. Working with the quality management service is our daily business. The focus is on the inspection of the outgoing goods as well as the traceability of the material and production flow. We take care of speedy completion of orders. Our customers know that they can rely on agreed delivery dates. We benefit from our own warehousing. We have in stock blanks and materials of different quality and dimension, implying that we are able to react promptly to customers requirements. Our machines are all state-of-the-art, assuring the reproducible and cost-effective working of the precision components. We also dispose of our own fleet and use the logistic advantage to be situated near of important motorways as well as Magdeburg, the state capital of Saxony-Anhalt.
