Modernisierungscenter RST Lift Components SLC Sautter Lift Components We are qualified for your tasks Having emerged from the Haushahn Modernization Centre, SLC Sautter Lift Components rests on Haushahn s more than 100 years of experience in lift manufacturing. Quality, a long life-cycle, and the technological advance of our products make us bound to this tradition. We are the lift experts and with our wide variety of products we master the entire lift system. We supply you with components and solutions for modernization as well as with complete lifts. We support you SLC and its Development, Engineering, Purchasing, Sales and Manufacturing divisions, all of them located in Stuttgart, is ready to help you. We manufacture on an area of more than 4,000 m² and permanently keep some 5,500 spare parts in stock, supported by a network of competent national and international suppliers. Our international orientation is emphasized by our investment in a Turkish production plant. 6 Innovation Components on the move On top of technology Market requirements concerning performance, price, reliability and function are constantly changing. In order to master this development, at SLC scientists, engineers and application technicians research and develop new and individual product solutions. We don t do this alone but in a network with research institutes at universities and the Fraunhofer society and with R&D departments of our suppliers. Thus we can bundle know-how from theory and practice for manufacturing new and innovative products in well established reliability and top quality. Future needs ideas: we develop them for our customers and their increasing requirements and transfer them into practical solutions.

7 SAFETY GEAR BF SG RF The product program covers all requirements Our product range of safety gears covers application-oriented solutions for any materials handling problem. Our flagship series BF has a modular concept, is single or double acting and designed for various load and speed. A special stainless steel option for use in particularly adverse environmental conditions may be offered. Thanks to excentric arrangement of the brake shoes of BF only reduced forces are required for releasing the safety gear. The progressive safety gear product portfolio is rounded off by the new SG series. Its compact size will convince you. For use in slowly driving lifts or at the counterweight SLC offers the robust instantaneous safety gear RF0002. Uncompromising quality assurance Our safety gears are safety components, therefore each one has its unique serial number. All relevant spare parts are subject to our batch management and may be traced back with the serial number. Each progressive safety gear is being individually prepared for operation using an adjusting device especially developed for this purpose. It measures the force-travel ratio and documents the results. For every progressive safety gear an adjusting protocol will be compiled automatically and stored at SLC. We have our own test facilities for checking the basic settings and testing newly developed products.

8 CONTROL LC 2005 Components to move you EMC-examined technology LC 2005 is a manufacturer independent control system with a distributed intelligence which is EMC-safe. Independent micro processors on CPU, car and door control, and as an option also in call units and indicators, preprocess and analyse the input and output of attached sensors and actors. For communication a modern serial field bus system is used. The control system s core is a highperformance Motorola processor. A separate pre-control circuit board contains the extractions of the safety circuit and the control of the travel contactors. Thus constitutes the core of the installation which combines all safety functions by simply plugging them in. For bypassing the door zone and lock switches in the unlocking zone a safety switch proven and tested for years is used. Complete delivery reduces interfaces Being a full-range and turnkey supplier we provide complete electrical equipment including control cabinet (wall-mounted or stand-alone), internal or external power stage optionally with or without signalisation (call units or operating panels), as well as the entire pre-wired shaft installations with tailored travelling cables. You may also order pluggable shaft lighting or any other assembly or installation materials. Prior to delivery we test each control system for operativeness using specially developed simulators.

9 DOOR LOGOS Fire resistance according to DIN 4102 and EN81-58 Our automatic car and shaft sliding doors of the LOGOS series feature an extremely compact design. The shaft doors are equal to EN81-1 and 2 standard and may be used as landing doors with fire resistance classification F90 according to DIN 4102, part 2. Optional door designs are standardized according to EN81-58 with classifications E120, EW60 or EI60. Brand quality, Made in Stuttgart Doors are manufactured in Stuttgart according to DIN and regularly tested by TÜV Süddeutschland (the Southern German Technical Inspection Agency) according to the lifts directive. All sheets used are electroplated and therefore provide optimum protection against corrosion. We use Siemens convenience door drives AT18 and AT25 which guarantee a high closing and opening speed combined with a very smooth running. Our patented door panels in a double-wall design with an embossed rear panel are extremely insusceptible to shock and may be easily installed due to symmetrical design. The emergency unlocking device is located in the door frame.

10 DRIVING GEAR AM 1-3 High efficiency with smooth running Our lift driving gears AM 1-3 are the benchmark for robust quality, reliability, smooth running and a long life-cycle Made in Germany. With its rigid coupling the flange mounted motor (design B9) allows for an excellent alignment of the motor with the worm shaft and thus guarantees a most smooth running. Combined with the double-shoe brake in the gear box this results in a very compact drive design. The overhung traction sheave has an integrated pull-off device. Special withdrawal screws make it easy to maintain and allow for the quick change of traction sheaves without extra tools. The worm shaft and the worm wheel shaft with their double roller bearings provide a high degree of efficiency. Optimum both in function and efficiency The AM model series combines comprehensive know-how with the latest technology and highest manufacturing precision. This results in a lift gear with an optimum both in function and efficiency.
