7 Arrive quickly and easily We have three international airports Billund Airport, which is centrally placed in the region, and Copenhagen Airport and Hamburg Airport, just 90 minutes drive away. Copenhagen Airport has a direct rail connection. The region also has a modern coast-to-coast, north-to-south motorway network.

11 Billund and Copenhagen airports have over 285,000 arrivals and departures every year. Many of these connections are direct flights to and from major cities around the world. In other words, finding a route that suits your travel plans is a simple matter.

55 Welfare technology is the future Through active clustering, the Region of Southern Denmark has established a new development area in welfare technology, including research into how new technologies can help in the provision of welfare in the future. Robotics will come to play a crucial role in the future.

56 Major Danish investment and innovation in wind power technology has transformed it from a hippy s hobby into one of the most important growth industries in the world. This was no chance event. Denmark takes the environmental agenda seriously. So sustainability isn't just a topic to write speeches about. It has to be a practical part of your event.
