Attended the Virginia Pin Swap last month (197 registrations) and what another great performance by the Virginia Lions. Looking forward to Nashville in February, Pennsylvania in March, North Carolina and Our own MIDWEST Swap in April (Nebraska is the host) and then on to Seattle in July. It just does not get any better than this for the fun, fellowship and some pin trading. Dianna goes along most of the time (shopping malls are always near by) and she too has developed great friendships with the wives of other Lions, so fun and fellowship is for ALL. Please consider sponsoring a fellow Lion into both the Ohio Pin Traders and the LITPC and these NEW Lions will receive pins, newsletters and much fun and fellowship. Must close for now as I have much Christmas shopping to get done. My wish for you is a most BLESSED Christmas and HAPPY and HEALTHY New Year, and may you find that special pin in your stocking. Yours in Lionism Merle Dutt Lion Merle Dutt President Frances Hensel 582 N 8th Upper Sandusky, OH fohensel@udata.com PDG Barney Roll 1385 Township Road 216 Bellefontaine, OH bhr8456@embarqmail.com Newsletter Editor PID Steven Sherer New Philadelphia, OH npssteve@roadrunner.com Color version of the newsletter is available on the web site!

4 NOTES FROM YOUR EDITOR If you have not looked at the website lately, please do so. Lion Bill Keller has done a great job in finishing up on getting all the Ohio pins listed. He is presently working on a project that documents all the new member sponsorship pins. Check it out on our website. The third pin in the carnation series will be handed out at the Winter retreat to the first 200 who present their special coupon. Please check your address label to make sure your dues are paid up to date. The club presently has 98 members. Limited Number of First Ladies Pins Still Available We have a limited number of first ladies pin left numbers 3 through 8. Unfortunately we are completely sold out of pins number 1 and 2. That means there are a number of traders who bought the first two pins but have not completed their set. Please get you order in early so that you know you will have a complete set Winter Retreat and State Convention Carnation Pins Have you Paid Your DUES? Ohio Pin Trader Dues of $7 per year are due July 1. Check your mailing label and if it says 10 or earlier after your name, your dues are due/past due. Please use the enclosed membership form and mail your check to: PID STEVEN D SHERER New Philadelphia OH He may also be contacted at npssteve@roadrunner.com for any questions.
