1 2017 Grayson County Fair Family Life Division SWEEPSTAKES AWARDS Crystal will be awarded to the three person with the most points for their handiwork entered in the Women's Building. Winners will not be eligible to win for two subsequent years and must be a resident of Grayson County. Blue Ribbon - 3 points Red Ribbon - 2 points White Ribbon - 1 point - Items entered must be the work of the entrant - Entreies must use numbers from the official Grayson Co. Fair REGULATIONS An exhibit which has won first price at a previous Grayson County Fair is barred from entry. All entries must be made starting at 11:00 a.m. and ending at 7:00 p.m. Monday August 28th. Exhibits should be checked out with the committee before 12:00 p.m., Monday September 4th. The management will not be responsible after 12:00 p.m. entries will be left in the women's building.entries must be left for display unitl Monday. NO entries can be taken beforehand. An exhibitor may enter only one exhibit it in each class. Items must be handmade by the exhibitors and entered in the name of that person only. Turn in entries at the first Merchant building (Women's Bldg.) Entry will not be accepted if it does not meet specifications. Disqualification will be made jointly by the judge of questionable category, extension agent and women's building superintendent and will not be subjected to change. (Detailed lists and description of articles and, where necessary, photos, will be kept to assist in decision). All judges will be from outside Grayson County and will be selected for their ability. Exhibitor cannot enter in both amateur (student) and advanced (professional) in the same class. When less than three items in one class, items will be judged on their merit for a ribbon.
