5 SAFETY PECAUTIONS WANING Wirig: Wirig work shall be carried out by electrical experts. Otherwise, there is a dager of electric shock, fire ad/or damage of product. Operatig: Please do ot ope the iverter s case or optioal case whe the power supply is o ad please do ot carry out the followig operatios whe the power supply is o. (1) Please do ot touch the iside (ex. termial parts). (2) Please do ot check the iteral sigal. (3) Please do ot put o or take off the iteral wirig ad coector. Otherwise, there is a dager of electric shock ad/or fire. Do ot touch the coductive parts such as the iteral PCB, termials or coector while power is beig supplied. Otherwise, there is a dager of electric shock. Be sure ot to remove this product while iverter is powered ON. Otherwise, there is a dager of electric shock ad/or fire. Maiteace, Ispectio ad Part eplacemet: Wait at least 10 miutes after turig off the iput power supply before performig maiteace ad ispectio. (Cofirm that charge lamp o the iverter is off, check the direct curret voltage betwee PN termials ad cofirm it is less tha 45V) Otherwise, there is a dager of electric shock. Make sure that oly qualified persos perform maiteace, ispectio, ad part replacemet. Before startig the work, remove metallic objects from your perso (wristwatch, bracelet, etc.). Be sure to use tools protected with isulatio. Otherwise, there is a dager of electric shock ad/or ijury. Please do ot carry out isulatio resistace (megger) ad voltage proof test. Otherwise, there is a dager of electric shock ad/or a possibility that the product will get damaged. NOTE: Never disassemble / repair / modify the uit. Otherwise, tighteig torque may result i malfuctio. I order to prevet damage caused by static electricity, Please remove the static electricity of the body touch the earby metal before touchig this product. Otherwise, there is a possibility that the product will get damaged. Please do ot carry out isulatio resistace (megger) ad voltage proof test. Otherwise, there is a dager of electric shock ad/or a possibility that the product will get damaged. Be careful of the followigs. Whe removig WJPN, do ot pull the POFINET DP cable. Whe moutig WJPN, be sure that the POFINET DP cable is ot piched. Whe moutig WJPN, be careful about burrs of the breakouts o the iverter. 8 Chapter 1 Itroductio 1.2 Iquiry of the product ad warraty for the product equired iformatio for product iquiry If a iquiry of breakage, a questio, damage etc. is required, please relay the followig iformatio about WJ200 / WL200 ad WJPN to the supplier that you ordered from or the earest Hitachi Distributor. (1) Type (WJ200 / WL200 ad WJPN) (2) Maufacturig umber (MFG No.) Please refer to the lateral specificatios labels (the figure shows a example.) o the side. (3) Date of purchase (4) Cotets of iquiry Damaged parts ad its coditio etc. Parts i questio ad their cotets etc. I order to shorte dow time, utilizig a replacemet uit is recommeded Warraty of the product The warraty period uder ormal istallatio ad hadlig coditios shall be 2 years from the date of maufacture, or 1 year from the date of istallatio, whichever occurs first. The warraty shall cover the repair or replacemet, at Hitachi's sole discretio, of ONLY the product that was istalled. 1. Service i the followig cases, eve withi the warraty period, shall be charged to the purchaser: a. Malfuctio or damage caused by missoperatio or modificatio or improper repair b. 9 Chapter 2 Outlie 2.1 Outlie of product WJPN is a iterface optio of POFINET commuicatio for WJ200 / WL200. WJPN allows cotrollig, moitorig ad parameterizatio of WJ200 / WL200 via the POFINET etwork. POFINET is a ope, digital commuicatio system. POFINET is achored i the iteratioal stadards IEC ad IEC WJPN supports the applicatio profile POFIdrive versio 4.2. This profile defies device behavior ad the access procedure to drive data for electric drives o POFINET or POFINET. (1) POFINET WJPN supports POFINET IO Ver The coformace class of WJPN is B. (2) Cyclic commuicatio The POFINET IO cotroller maages the POFINET etwork, ad performs POFINET IO device status moitorig ad data exchage with the POFINET IO devices. The format of commuicatio data coforms to POFIdrive. Output data (to POFINET IO device) : operatio commad, target value, etc. Iput data (to POFINET IO cotroller) : operatio status, preset value, etc. (3) Settig the iverter parameters You ca set the iverter parameters by usig acyclic commuicatio of the POFINET. The procedure to access parameters coforms to POFIdrive. 3

10 Chapter 2 Outlie 2.2 About optioal correspodece of WJ200 / WL200 You ca attach WJPN to all models of WJ200 / WL200. However, it may ot support WJPN depedig o the product versio. Please refer to the iverter specificatios label o the side ad check its versio (it is metioed i the top right corer) o specificatios label. (The figure shows a example.) WJ200/WL200 of the versio listed i the table below is compatible with WJPN. Series Versio WJ200 Ver.2.4 or later WL200 Ver.1.0E or later Please cofirm the versio. Fuctioal safety (STO) certificatio of the iverter becomes ieffective. 4

11 Chapter 3 Appearace 3.1 Appearace ad each part ame The followig is the exteral descriptio of WJPN. For more iformatio about LEDs ad coectors, please refer to the page metioed. LEDs: These LEDs describe POFINET states. From left side: L / A 1 L / A 2 COMM E Coectors: You ca coect the optio to the POFINET etwork via these coectors. Coector type is J45, electrical characteristics coform to IEEE802.3 stadard. The left side is port 1, ad the right side is port 2. NOTE: Please fix the coected POFINET cables to prevet mechaical failure by the vibratio/gravity. Istall the ferrite core (icluded i shipmet) o the LAN cables (both port 1 ad 2) ear the coectors. 5

12 Chapter 3 Appearace 3.2 Summary of all parts LED The summaries of LED, the settig switch ad the coector are as follows. Please refer to 9.1 Status idicator explaatios ad error hadlig for details. 13 Chapter 4 Attachmet 4.1 Before attachig WJPN First of all, please cofirm that the iverter s mai power supply is OFF. Next, please cofirm that the 4digit 7segmet display turs off the light. Perform the mai circuit wirig of the power lie (power supply, motor, groudig, BD), ad do the cotrol circuit wirig of the sigal lie. After wirig o mai ad cotrol circuit is completed, please cofirm that the iverter works ormally before attachig WJPN. Please refer to Chapter 2 Iverter Moutig ad Istallatio' of the WJ200 / WL200 istructio maual for the wirig. 4.2 Attachmet procedure The coectio procedure of WJPN as follows. (A example: i the case of WJ200004LF) (Mai circuit electric wirig ad the cotrol circuit electric wirig are omitted.) The iitial state. To avoid pullig the cable uitetioally, you eed to cut the groud cable to a appropriate legth for the distace to the iverter s groudig termial ad the size of the termial block, ad crimp the cable to the crimp termial before usig. 9

16 Chapter 4 Attachmet Lift the WJPN, ad, please attach the istallatio coector (for WJPN) carefully ad slowly from the frot of the istallatio coector for the optio of the WJ200 / WL200. Be careful to make the coectors straight ad ot to break the hooks Optio board coector Optio coector Fix the optio with the screws. Fixed screw Please check the coectio state of the WJPN ad the WJ200 / WL200 iverter via the coector. Whe the coectio state of the coector is bad, the Optio error (iverter commuicatio error, : E6*, please refer to Chapter 9) may occur after supplyig power to the iverter. Or, because the iverter caot recogize a optio, ormal commuicatio may ot be carried out. NOTE: Please istall the iverter i a grouded metal cabiet. 10

18 Chapter 5 Wirig, Coectig 5.3 A system cofiguratio of the POFINET The followig sketch is a example of POFINET system cofiguratio. WJPN may be damaged by false cotact. (2) Network cables should be fixed without tesio. Cables fixed uder tesio have the potetial of causig a commuicatio fault by removig a coector. (3) The commuicatio lie ad the power lie should wire the positio that they separated as much as possible. Whe the positio of the power lie is ear the commuicatio lie, it may ot commuicate by a oise. (4) Esure exteral emergecy stop measures are take to stop the iverter, i the evet of a etwork fault. (a) Break the power supply of the Iverter whe the etwork POFINET IO cotroller detects a commuicatio fault. (b) Whe the POFINET IO cotroller detects a commuicatio fault, tur o the itelliget iput termial which would be allocated (FS), (S) ad/or (EXT) fuctio. (c) Settig commad P045 (Iverter actio o commuicatio error). egardig this settig, the iverter is tripped, deceleratio or free ru stop whe it detects a commuicatio fault by itself. (Factory iitializatio of commad P045 (Iverter actio o commuicatio error) is tripped. e.g. WJ200 / WL200 becomes the trip whe a POFINET IO cotroller detects a commuicatio fault whe WJ200 / WL200 rus by a order from the POFINET.) About SAFETY Whe WJ200 / WL200 is used with DipSwitch i the positio to activate fuctioal safety ad commuicatio POFINET IO cotroller uit detects the commuicatio error, please tur OFF (to iterrupt the output) GS1 sigal (itelliget iput #3) ad GS2 (itelliget iput #4.) 19 Chapter 5 Wirig, Coectig For more details, please refer to the istructio maual of WL200 / WL Istall the ferrite core Istall the ferrite core (icluded i shipmet) o the LAN cables (both IN ad OUT) ear the commuicatios coectors. (If the commuicatios cable o the OUT side is ot coected, istall the ferrite core for the IN side oly.) NOTE: Please fix the coected LAN cables. 13

20 Chapter 6 Operatio from POFINET 6.1 Precautios for use Check the Iverter settigs for proper Iverter behavior before actually operatig the Iverter remotely via the etwork. The product will be used to cotrol a adjustable speed drive coected to high voltage sources ad rotatig machiery that is iheretly dagerous if ot operated safely. Iterlock all eergy sources, hazardous locatios, ad guards i order to restrict the exposure of persoel to hazards. The adjustable speed drive may start the motor without warig. Sigs o the equipmet istallatio must be posted to this effect. A familiarity with autorestart settigs is a requiremet whe cotrollig adjustable speed drives. Failure of exteral or acillary compoets may cause itermittet system operatio, i.e., the system may start the motor without warig or may ot stop o commad. Improperly desiged or improperly istalled system iterlocks ad permissios may reder a motor uable to start or stop o commad. 6.2 Setup of the WJ200 / WL200 for commissioig Before commissioig, prepare the Iverter ad WJPN by followig the settig example below Settig of the iverter mode (Whe WJ200 / WL200 is coected to stadard IM.) Set the Iverter mode to Std. IM by first settig b171 = 1 ad the b180 = 1. Whe WJ200 / WL200 is coected to PM, you eed to set b171 = Iitializatio of the iverter First of all, please set b084 to 04(Clears trip history ad iitializes all parameters ad EzSQ program), ext set b085 to 01(area A), ad the set b094 to 00(All parameters), ad ext set b180 to 01(Perform iitializatio), ad the iitializatio of the iverter will be started Costat Torque mode/variable Torque mode selectio I case of WJ200, Set b049 to 00 (b049 = 00: Costat Torque mode). I case of WL200, you do t eed to set b049 because WL200 supports oly Costat Torque mode ad does t support b049. After the abovemetioed settig is completed, please set the parameter A001, A002, A004, A038, A039, A093, b031, C001 C007, C042, C043, C102, P044, P045, P160 P179 ad P200 accordig to the table i 7.2: Parameter settig of WJ200 / WL200. Whe you set parameters with Operator or PC (ProDriveNext), you eed to tur OFF the iverter. After the power supply of the iverter becomes OFF, please tur ON the iverter ad check that WJPN commuicates by POFINET. Please refer to data example of the WJ200 / WL200 operatig i the POFINET commuicatio from the ext page. 14

21 Chapter 6 Operatio from POFINET 6.3 Operatio with frequecy commad [Hz] Please refer to the istructio maual of the POFINET IO cotroller about the way of usig it. For a detailed descriptio of the POFINET commuicatio, please refer to Chapter 8. The followig is a example of operatio with the Stadard telegram 1 i the POFINET commuicatio ad settig A004 to 50 [Hz]. STW1 is the cotrol word. ZSW1 is the status word. NSOLL_A meas the settig of output frequecy. NIST_A meas the actual output frequecy. 22 Chapter 7 Settig 7.1 Istallatio of the GSDML File It is ecessary to istall the GSDML File to your PC tool (Egieerig tool) of POFINET IO cotroller to use WJPN. GSDML file is a file that cotais specific iformatio of the POFINET IO devices. Please iquire to the earest busiess cotact about the GSDML file. 7.2 Parameter settigs of WJ200 / WL200 WJPN eeds the parameter settigs of WJ200 / WL200, which shows the followig table. Cocerig the operatig of the system, it is ecessary to refer to the istructio maual of the iverter ad the QG of this optio. Please perform appropriate settigs as eeded.
