2 THE OPPORTUNITY THE FINANCE GROUP The Lndn Crprate Restructuring & Inslvency team sits within the firm's Finance grup. The Finance grup, as a whle, cmbines high levels f technical and market expertise with a practical and cmmercial service which prvides clients with a high degree f persnal attentin. The grup s fcus is n high value bespke transactins. The Finance grup advises n the financing f natinal and internatinal transactins, including real estate finance, acquisitin finance, prject and asset financing, real estate investment and develpment, structured finance and securitisatin. The Crprate Restructuring & Inslvency team advises creditrs and debtrs n the full spectrum f restructuring and inslvency matters. Our team advises n the restructuring f existing financings, debt trading, enfrcement f security and frmal inslvency prcedures. As well as advising clients within the Finance grup, the Crprate Restructuring & Inslvency team wrks clsely with ther grups within the firm. In particular, much f the team's wrk relates t the firm's Crprate client base, resulting in the team regularly advising bth inslvency fficehlders and investrs n dispsals and acquisitins f distressed businesses. The team als wrks clsely with the firm's Real Estate grup, advising landlrds in cnnectin with defaulting r inslvent tenants and acting fr prperty investment funds in cnnectin with the acquisitin r dispsal f distressed real estate prtflis A prprtin f the team's wrk derives frm Cntinental Eurpe, the Middle East, Asia and the US including wrking with ther lawyers and clients acrss the K&L Gates platfrm f 36 ffices wrldwide. 2

3 CORPORATE RESTRUCTURING & INSOLVENCY LAWYER We are seeking an able lawyer t jin ur Crprate Restructuring & Inslvency team. The ideal candidate will be a mid-level assistant, with a minimum f tw years experience. We are lking fr smene wh can demnstrate gd practical experience within a well-regarded inslvency team. The requirements fr this rle are: Gd restructuring and inslvency training and experience frm a recgnised, standalne inslvency team, preferably within a Tp 50 firm; Slid nn-cntentius inslvency/restructuring experience, t include: Transactinal experience, i.e. acting fr sellers and buyers f distressed businesses, particularly ut f a frmal inslvency prcess; Out f curt/infrmal restructurings; Re-financings and rescues; Distressed debt trading; Advising crprate clients n all aspects f inslvency, restructuring and directrs' duties; Frmal inslvency appintments; Familiarity with lan and security dcumentatin. Experience f acting fr bth debtrs (including fficehlders) and creditrs. Cnfidence and a willingness and ability t get invlved. A backgrund f managing wn files. Outging persnality, with client-facing experience and prepared t participate fully in business develpment activities.
