The Future World By Connor McAndrew and Sean Burke

Government The government will not change drastically Presidents will not become dictators Checks and balances will still stay relevant The President won t come to complete power The People will still have a say in who becomes president Certain laws will be changed, added, or removed The three branches will still remain Overall the government will stay the same

Education Technology will become an even larger part of education Eventually paper and pencils will be outdated Chalkboards will becomes giant touch screen tablets You will learn based on your career choice More people would take classes online Less and less text books would be used in classrooms They would be replaced by tablets and computers College will cost less because it would be taken online

Homes Interactive materials in homes; such as the toaster in Fahrenheit 451 Better home security such as hand scanners, motion detectors, etc... Build better( more futuristic looking) More private

Work Foreign affairs will be needed more especially for China More fields in technology creating new devices Scientists will become more abundant More construction workers and more nature awareness people as the trees and areas deplete Eventually space research and investigation into life on other planets will be looked into More artificial things and things such as bio-diesel and fake grass

Economy We will not be in the trillions for debt The debt crisis will not completely be over Credit cards and debit cards will replace cash and coins The outcome in fifty years depends on our presidents and how they use our money responsibly Most things will depend on our future leaders

Leisure Water polo will no longer be relevant Electronics will replace almost everything done indoors Interactive video games Book will not be banned but nooks and kindles will for the most part replace them Technology will take over most board games and the card games will also be outdated Sports will be more advanced depending on what the future generation is interested in

Family Less interactive families Technology will do chores and other helpful things Population will grow more and eventually (after 50 years) the world will become over populated They will spend less time with each other Parents will have to work more depleting family bonding time

Food There will still be the same food as we have today Fast Food will become more popular Depending on the debt crisis either cooking at home will become more or less popular Food won t change to much in the future

Clothing People will still wear relatively the same clothes as we do now There will still be trends but no major changes Once again it all depends on what the future generation is into

Climate The world will be torrid because: Global Warming Overpopulation Lots of cars and gas being released into the air We will also go through occasional droughts Hurricanes and tornadoes will be more common

Ecology/Environment Industry will take place of national parks and rain forests Trees will be less abundant More species of animals will go extinct because their homes are being destroyed As technology grows peoples interest in nature will deter The small pockets of nature left will be more heavily protected

Other Forms of Life In fifty years space programs will start up again There has to be other forms of life besides us because our universe is huge Within the next 50 years we might run into other types of life and they might not be friendly We might go to war with them

Peace or War At the rate America goes to war, in the next 50 years we will have probably gone to war more than once We will have peace with China because we depend on them for many things We could possibly go to war with the Middle East again but it depends on our leaders In 50 years we will have less ground deployed units and more air support and drones

Space Exploration We will possibly encounter other life forms on planets with water and other sources to make life possible The moon may be colonized or started in fifty years but not necessarily finished We will continue to uncover more of the universe but we will never discover it all

Health Cure for cancer in fifty years possible treatments for AIDS but maybe not the cure Even more effective vaccines Effective machines to help doctors and scientists More effective over the counter medicine A cure for addiction is possible

Quality of Life The same as now The average life span could be between years Poverty will still exist along with wealthy people

Transportation More advanced motor vehicles Electric cars will be more abundant as oil depletes High speed rails Planes will become faster and more efficient
