2 MetalOptic Pins MetalOptic Pin The MetalOptic pin combines the strength of a steel blade and brilliance of a fiber optic strand inserted through a channel along its entire length. There is no loop to snag in brushy terrain and the strength of the half-moon shaped steel blade supports the fiber optic in the event of impact. The entire MetalOptic pin is machined from a single piece of solid steel, eliminating the past fears of stripped threads or broken plastic pins. All K9 models are equipped with approximately 9 inches of light-gathering fiber optic strands for each pin. The strands are wound precisely onto the clear spool and strategically located at the rear of the sight head for maximum brightness to the aim points. K EX200 3/8" Dovetail Bar Horizontally Aligned Pins Toxonics MetalOptic pins are mounted horizontally in two rows for close pin gaps, long yardage view and gapping. These double rows are angled inward to bring the aim tips into a single plane for perfect alignment. The resulting geometry ensures the vertical alignment of the aim pins while having the advantages of a horizontal pin. Horizontally Aligned Pins Offset Extension Bar Toxonics sights are equipped with the extension bar machined offset downward. The mounting holes are countersunk from both sides enabling the bow hunter to reverse the bar for an offset upward. The resulting flip of the mounting bar offers the archer additional yardage to compensate for long risers, high or low anchor points, or centering the pins in the aim ring for a better view. This also makes the bar ambidextrous for right or left handed bow hunters. EX201 3/8" 3rd Axis Bar Offset Extension Bar Tool-less Gang Adjust Magnification Option Tool-less Gang Adjust Machined aluminum knobs and lock levers provide ample locking power to this two-piece spring loaded unit. The two-piece design allows the dovetail clamp to remain at 60 degrees and to apply 100% locking pressure to the sight. A spring-loaded washer secures the sight for adjustment when unlocked, prohibiting it from falling out and losing your mark while making adjustments in the field all without the use of tools. Magnification Option The benefits of magnification are the most overlooked of all Toxonics features. The market trends are toward smaller pin diameters for increased accuracy through more visibility of the target, especially at longer distances. It is far more effective to increase the size of the target through magnification, while aiming with a pin diameter that is far brighter and more visible to the eye. When it is desirable to cover less of the target with the pin, magnification is the most effective choice over using a smaller pin. Other benefits include increased visibility of low lying branches and the ability to choose clear shooting lanes. Magnification is, simply, all around increased visibility of the target and its surroundings. Our lenses are high-quality ground glass with an antiglare coating and easily removable when magnification is not desired. This is a new generation of sight frames from Toxonics for the ultimate in durability and rigidity. Available in film dip camouflage, a new locking mechanism has been designed of steel to increase the locking power of the gang adjustments. This new mechanism incorporates a dovetailed plunger that slides in a counterbore to lock down the mating part. 8 Innovation At Its Best While the trend in the industry is toward lighter faster bows, there has been no trend to follow in the stabilizer industry until now. The New Balance Stabilizer line was designed to enhance and tighten groups through proper weight distribution and balance, rather than the simple addition of mass weight. While mounted to the riser opposite the sight and arrow rest, the New Balance unit is slideable forward and backward for infinite weight distribution and balance. This eliminates the need to add additional weighted devices and mass weight to the bow. Instead, with the New Balance unit the archer can redistribute the mass weight for balance without the need to add more mass. Very important to the function of the New Balance unit is its mounting position opposite the sight and/or quiver. This counter balance effect eliminates torque, solving right and left hand error in the shot.
