3 Benefits of New Market Products Cutoff Holder Easy Center Height Adjusment Pivoting adjustment of cartridge allows very easy and accurate adjustment of center height (f any machine aberrations) with virtually no effect on X-axis to affect timing of cut off. Pre-set Adjustable Center Height Stop After center height is adjusted (f any machine aberrations) the adjustment remains pre-set with a self locking feature. This allows cartridges to be changed f different width cuts and still maintain the pre-set center height f that particular machine. In some applications the clamp screw may be less convenient to access than the cam style, however the screw style is less expensive than the cam style. This design requires that the clamping screw is tightened 1/4 turn after the cartridge just begins to clamp the insert, f proper clamping fce on the insert. Insert Mount securely on Pivot Block with 2 screws befe clamping insert Losen Clamp Screw Slide Insert into Pocket Tighten Clamp Screw 1/4 turn after the cartridge just begins to clamp the insert, f proper clamping fce on the insert. Adjustment Screw Insert Gap A Instructions F Cam Style Hole A Cam Plunger ALWAYS USE PROPER SAFETY EQUIPMENT (see above caution) F Removing Cam & Plunger Release Cam by turning counter clockwise. Remove Adjustment Screw. Remove Insert. Pry Gap apart and insert 3/8 Allen Wrench (Hex Key) at Gap A. NOTE: Do not pry Gap A apart further than necessary the cartridge will be defmed and ruined. Also be sure to completely remove Adjustment Screw and Insert befe hand. Withdraw Plunger and Cam can be slid out of hole. F Inserting Cam & Plunger Remove Adjustment Screw. Remove Insert. Pry Gap apart and insert 3/8 Allen Wrench (Hex Key) at Gap A. NOTE: Do not pry Gap A apart further than necessary the cartridge will be defmed and ruined. Also be sure to completely remove Adjustment Screw and Insert befe hand. Insert grooved end of plunger into Hole A. Insert Cam - Make sure that hex socket oncam faces you when suppt blade is iented as illustrated. Remove 3/8 Allen Wrench (Hex Key) Rotate Cam so that plunger engages into cavity. Rotate Cam counter clockwise to release position. Insert Adjustment Screw and adjust screw so that insert has just enough clearance to slide in and out. F Clamping Insert Mount securely on Pivot Block with 2 screws befe clamping insert. Rotate Cam counter clockwise. Slide Insert into Pocket. Rotate Cam Clockwise. Page 5
