Lot L.001 Ornamental Turning Lathe No 2408 made in 1891 by Holtzapffel & Co. Provenance: First sold on 20th July 1891 for 255.-12.-6 to W.B.Jameson Esq., of Dublin; resold to W.

Murflarz. It was acquired by John McWilliam in 1997 and following his death in 2007 it was bought by the present owner.

11 Lot L.001 Ornamental Turning Lathe No 2408 made in 1891 by Holtzapffel & Co. Provenance: First sold on 20th July 1891 for to W.B.Jameson Esq., of Dublin; resold to W.Strong JP of Draycott Fitzpaine, Nr.Marlborough, on 10th September 1907, resold to T.S.Swain 12th May 1920; the lathe was next discovered in France where it was owned by M. A.Murflarz. It was acquired by John McWilliam in 1997 and following his death in 2007 it was bought by the present owner. A rare opportunity to acquire in very good condition, a high specification ornamental turning outfit including 2 overheads, comprehensive slide rest, Ellipse, Eccentric, Dome, Universal and modern chucks. Re-listed at a New low Buy-it -Now price
