2 The speed of the system comes from the wedge and tie. The slotted taper tie is the fastest most economical form tie available. Simply pass through forms and lock in place. Hundreds of re-uses.taper ties can be made for any size of wall. Other tie systems can be used...such as threaded taper ties, coil rod, she bolts. The gang adapter wire loop tie is available where taper ties can not be used such as water tanks. The loop tie is much faster than she bolts and inner ties, and is available with waterseals. G-A SLOTTED TAPER TIE Available sizes: 8", 10", 12", 14", 16", 18", 20", 22", 24" Probably the fastest most economical form tie available. Simply pass through forms and lock in place. G-A WIRE LOOP TIE The G-A wire loop tie is the highest strength loop tie available in the market today. Next time your job requires a tie that does not leave a hole through the wall... or requires a waterseal try the G-A wire waterseal tie. G-A WEDGE Provides an external spreader with either the slotted taper tie or the gang adapter loop tie. G-A loop tie with waterseal available Easily switch from gang panel to handset panels where needed with typical wedge bolt connection, ie. at pilasters, corners...

3 The gang adapter is basically a strongback made of 2 high strength side rails with a welded steel face. This adds strength in the vertical direction allowing less ties to be used. For example a 10' tall wall which would typically have minimum of 6 ties vertically would be reduced to 3 ties vertically. In addition to having less ties the wedge is as fast as you can get when installing and removing ties. In other words if you have a 12' wall and are using 12' gang adapters, even though you would be stacking an 8' and a 4' panel to get to 12'. 5 STANDARD HARDWARE & ACCESSORIES WALER CLAMPS The waler clamp for 2x4 lumber or our new waler clamp for 6-1/2" aluminum beams provide a straight wall. NOTE: No strongbacks are needed when using a single gang adapter up to 16' tall walls... OR when you stagger the forms and the Gang Adapters. LIFTING BRACKETS The standard double duty lift bracket will work with Gang Adapters. A four inch flat bolt may be used to attach the double duty lifting bracket. SCAFFOLD BRACKETS Standard Proform Scaffold brackets attach like normal using Gang Adapters. A four inch flat bolt may be used.

6 The Ellis Gang Adapter is used with Ellis Proform Panels and other similar systems to reduce the quantity of form ties and greatly increase the speed of gang forming.
