1 Setting up the Cyprinus Whole Hog Chair The first time you set up the Whole Hog chair we recommend that you first lay all of the components on the ground to familiarise yourself with each of them. Component Identification A = Square Side Bars (for clamping accessories onto) B = Round Bars (secure the square side bars [A] to the chair frame) Rod Support System: C = Adjustable Feeder Arm D = Rear Rest Upright E = Bipod Feeder Arm support legs F = Front & Rear Adjustable Buzz Bars Bait Tray Assembly G = Bait Tray Table H = Bait Tray Upright Arm

2 Next you should pull both sets of chair legs out into position (see picture below on left). To ensure the chair is level and stable, adjust each individual leg by pushing downwards on the black button to release the spring lock mechanism (see picture below on right), and pulling each inner leg downwards until all four mud feet make contact with the floor and the chair is level. Unscrew both hand wheels (anti clockwise), one at either side of the chair, until the interlocking teeth separate far enough to easily pass by each other. Pull up the chair back until it is in the desired upright or reclined position and lock into position by screwing the hand wheels in a clockwise direction until tight. Locate the four round bars with short sections of square tubing welded perpendicularly to one end [B]. Also locate the four square sections of square tubing, welded horizontally on the chair legs. Undo the locking screws on these square tubes so that the round bars can be inserted, then fix in position with the locking screws. It will help you to complete the next step if you ensure that the front & rear bars are positioned an equal distance from the chair and that both square tube sections are horizontal (see picture, right).

3 Next take the pair of square bars [A] and insert into the square tube section brackets of the front bars [B]. Decide which side of your chair is best placed to hold your rods and which side is best for the bait tray. For setting up the rod support side, see explanation i below, for the bait tray side, see explanation ii. i)push the square bar [A] through the bracket from the front, then insert through the square hole in the angle clamp at the bottom of the feeder arm [C]. Continue to push the bar through and then insert it through the square hole in the angle clamp at the bottom of the rear upright [D]. Locate the square bar into the rear square tubing bracket and clamp off. Insert the round end of the feeder arm [C] into the hole in the central boss on the bipod [E] and clamp in place. Adjust the bipod legs so that they touch the floor to support the feeder arm. Attach the buzz bars [F] to the feeder arm [C] and rear upright [D], screw in your rod rests or bite alarms and adjust the buzz bars to a suitable fishing position. When complete, the rod support set up should look similar to the following photograph:

4 ii) Push the square bar [A] through the bracket from the front, then insert through the square hole in the angle clamp at the bottom of the bait tray arm [H]. Continue to push the bar through and locate it into the rear square tubing bracket and clamp off. Clamp the tray arm in the desired position, then clamp the tray [G] onto the top horizontal bar of the bait tray arm. When complete, the bait tray set up should look similar to the following photograph: The angles of the bait tray, feeder arm and rear rest can all be adjusted, as can the length of the feeder arm, bipod legs and bait tray upright arm. Also adjustable is the distance the between the chair and the rod support system & bait tray. Once you re comfortable with everything in position, you re ready to fish!
