4 LOCATION OF THE TECH PANEL FOR DESK AND POWER The Desk and Power Tech Panel is commonly installed on the side adjacent to the door hinges (left side), but can also be installed on the rear or the right side. POWER CUTOUT IN TOP TRAVERSE BEAM One of the top traverse beams in each size (1026 and 1028) will have a cutout for power wiring to go through this beam and the Tech panel. TRAVERSE BEAM POWER CUTOUTS (REAR WITH CUTOUT) 1026mm The 1026 marked beams will be installed on the door side (Front) and opposite rear side. Desk and Power can be installed on the rear. The 1028 marked beams will be installed on the sides (left and right) of the Cube. If the desk is to be installed on the left or right, the beam with the cut out must be installed on the desk + power side. 1026mm (NO CUTOUT) 3

5 1 LOCATE WHERE PHONE CUBE IS TO BE INSTALLED AND CHECK FLOOR LEVEL 1.a COUNTERSINK FACE UP - Lay down the square floor base in the exact desired location for the Phone Cube. - Use the floor frame to check if the floor is level. 1.b - If floor is not level, build up spacers under the corners that need to elevated. -This will give the approximate measurement of how much the corner post(s) will need to be raised. - Then remove the spacers. 4

6 2 ASSEMBLE THE SKELETON FRAME (DO NOT TIGHTEN SCREWS ALL THE WAY) 2.a A B TOP TRAVERSE BEAMS (TOP VIEW): TRAVERSE BEAM: WITH CUTOUT TRAVERSE BEAM: NO CUTOUT B A TOP TRAVERSE BEAMS TO VERTICAL POSTS CONNECTION DETAIL Assemble two parallel sides by securing vertical posts A and B with a 1026mm top traverse beam as shown above. The TRAVERSE Beam for the DOOR PANEL must have NO CUTOUT. 2.b The screw plates go IN the vertical post. A B B A Connect the opposite goal posts using the 1028mm beams. 2.c A Ratchet with 5mm hex bit is used to assemble the TRAVERSE Beam. DO NOT FULLY TIGHTEN SCREWS! Screws will be tightened firmly later at Step 8 5

7 3 PLACE SKELETON ON FLOOR BASE & PREPARE UNIT FOR PANELS 3.a 3.b - Place the leveling glides of the Vertical Posts into the outer holes of the floor base. - Raise the post by lowering the leveling glide of any corners that had to be elevated with spacers (Refer to Step 1.b ) Adjusting Leveling Glides: Use the 13mm Flat Wrench to loosen/tighten the leveling glides Loosening the leveling glides will RAISE the post. Tightening the leveling glides will LOWER the post. 4 INSTALL POWER SOURCE CABLE IN TECH PANEL IF POWER IS COMING FROM THE FLOOR (DISREGARD IF POWER SOURCE IS OUTSIDE THE CUBE) GST GST TOP APPROX 33FT LONG 3 PIN Insert and feed the GST end of the cable up the conduit from the bottom of the panel. BOTTOM 3 PIN 6

8 5 INSTALL THE PANELS INTO SKELETON FRAME 5.a Insert the Tech Panel from the bottom on an angle. PER STEP 4 If necessary, use a flat pallet knife to push in the rubber gaskets. Feed the GST through the panel cutout if the power comes from inside. 5.b Push panel into frame. To facilitate, 5.c use clamp. Do not fully tighten the screws. USE 8MM HEX BIT WITH EXTENSION 5.d Repeat 5.a - 5.c for all Panels. Firmly tighten all panels once the panels and leveling glides are in their correct locations 7

9 6 PREPARE THE DOOR PANEL 6.a Remove the protective piece of wood from the bottom of the door carefully by removing both leveling glides at the same time. DO NOT REMOVE Black Plastic Strips. They keep the door glass panel in the door frame. 6.b Install the leveling glides back onto the door when finished. Remove the door handle package. 7 INSTALL THE DOOR PANEL USE 8MM HEX BIT WITH EXTENSION 7.a Install the door panel. Secure the door frame with two 7.b hex bolt screws as done with the other panels. Cut & pull out the plastic strips once the door frame is installed. Install the door handles onto the door. Ensure the handles are positioned as pictured facing the front of the glass door. 8

10 9 8 SECURE PANEL LEVELING GLIDES AND CORNER BOLTS 8.a -Insert all glides into their respective countersink holes. -If necessary, use a 48 clamp from post-to-post to adjust the corner leveling glides. All leveling glides should be in their respective countersink 8.b 8.c - The front post leveling glides should be adjusted to go into their respective holes. Square all corners and firmly tighten all of the corner screws. 9 CHECK DOOR FITTING 9.a Check that the door latch clicks when 9.b closing the door. 1/4 Gap Correctly Leveled Glass Door Panel Click Uneven Door Gap Incorrectly Leveled Glass Door Panel

11 10 10 SECURE THE DOOR PANEL IMPORTANT: The glass door frame should have been checked before this point. Please refer to Step 9 on Pg. 9 x3 There are 3 holes on the door frame as highlighted in the images above. For each hole: - Drill a 1/8th inch pilot hole through the center of the hole through the vertical post of the skeleton frame - Install the screws provided. - Cover the holes with the provided covers. Test the door latch again after installing these screws and ensure it clicks when closing the door.

12 11 CONNECT LED LIGHT TO CEILINGS 24 V DC 11.a Before installing the roof, identify the polarity (positive/negative) of the two wires coming out of the interior of the ceiling panel. + + White= Positive Black/Brown/Red = Negative CAUTION: Ensure correct polarity! 11.b Lift the orange tab back, insert and push the cable into the track all the way in. Push the tab back down to secure connection. IMPORTANT: Ensure to the correct polarity of the connections made. LED negative wire (Already connected) Ceiling negative wire 11.c Insert the connected wiring into the hole so the LED light can lay flushed against the ceiling. Place the LED light on the ceiling and center unit with the hole. 11

13 12 12 INSTALL WIRING FOR DESK POWER IN TECH PANEL GST TO GST 6FT CABLE Feed the FEMALE GST end of the cable from the top down through the cutout of the top traverse beam into the conduit and out of the hole in the tech panel. MALE GST FEMALE GST MALE GST FEMALE GST a INSTALL THE ROOF Occupancy Sensor Place the roof on top of the structure. 13.b The LED light should be directly above the desk and power, with the motion sensor on the opposite side. Insert Roof Clips into the top traverse beams in the locations circled in the image to the right. Turn the lower part 90 degrees with your finger and then tighten the screw in order to secure the roof.

14 14 INSTALL DESK ONTO TECH PANEL 14.a Screw the threaded rods provided in the Desk Kit into the tech panel. Install the desk onto the threaded rods on the tech panel. 14.b Secure with lock nuts provided. 15 INSTALL POWER UNIT IN DESK 15.a 15.b Insert and install the power unit on to the surface of the desk through the grommet hole. Connect the GST cable from the power unit with the GST cable from the panel. 13

15 16 CONNECT ALL WIRING Connect the desk power, source, and ventilation system GST cables into the GST Triple tap extension. Female GST 6 Ft. 16 17 Insert the square shaped foam fillers into the space between the base and the bottom of the vertical posts. Then, insert the smaller rectangular pair onto each side of the bottom of the door frame. Some irregular floors might require foam filler strips under all 3 panels with exception of the door.
