1 Modig RigiMill for a wide variation of aircraft parts The RigiMill is a small gantry machine that can be equipped with either one or two gantries on the same X-axis guide-ways. It is developed to handle titanium, aluminium, steel and composite parts. 1

2 The RigiMill offers a choice of three gantries The quick gantry is made for finishing in aluminium, The middle gantry is perfect for roughing in aluminium or finishing in titanium, and The heavy gantry is ideal for roughing in titanium. With these options our customers will be able to configure the perfect machine to fit their requirements Typical parts are 5-axis aluminium titanium and steel parts, stringers, spars, leading edge, wing spars, wing ribs, bulkheads, nacelles, flap tracks, landing gear beams, engine mounts and many more. 5 Chip conveyor - Available for aluminium, titanium and composite (dry or wet machining) There will be two chip conveyors on the machine, one on each side of the machining table. Vacuum - Vacuum available to add to the inside of the machine enclosure, predominantly used when cutting dry composite Machine cover - Moves with the gantry. The inside is manufactured from stainless steel and the outside is painted sheet metal. Inside the cover there is LED lightning and flood coolant available for cleaning Postprocessor - From ICAM in USA. Modig has a close cooperation with this company 3D model - 3D CAD machine model of the RigiMill, to enable creation of simulation modelling of manufacturing processes for collision analysis by the customer. Essential machine data for the simulation will be delivered in STEP or comparable format Pallet system - Automatic system for pallets up to 16 meters (630 inches) - Pallets are lifted automatically out of machine to a loading station where the operator can change the finished part out and replace with new raw material - While the operator is changing the part outside of the machine a new pallet with new raw material is lifted in to the machine. 5
