3 Our Approach An Urban Capers scavenger hunt is a search for answers to tricky questions, not things. Players seek out hidden art, symbols and architecture to solve mysteries and decipher the clues plus take part in photo challenges and post to social media!

4 1 Getting Started Teams receive a hunt package: a clue book, suspect list (for mysteries), map, etc. Our hosts get players in the mood and ready to play, go over rules, how to earn points, and...

5 2 Game On! Teams have two hours to explore the museum or neighbourhood, tracking down and solving clues, seeking answers and completing challenges.

6 3 And the winner is... To wrap up, teams are scored, points are fought over, a winner is declared. The winner receives the coveted Golden Magnifying Glass.

7 Our Current Hunts Murder at the ROM A murder mystery scavenger hunt where players, as detectives, scour the Royal Ontario Museum for clues to whodunit. As they uncover clues, they discover a tale of greed, lust, pride and revenge and only by deciphering a cryptic code left in the curator s appointment book will they solve the mystery. (Max capacity: hours, indoor, mystery) Secrets of St. Lawrence Players have two hours to explore Old Town Toronto and the St. Lawrence Market, uncovering the roots of the city. This hunt features early Toronto scandals, heroic and villainous media barons, acts of great courage, epidemics, crossdressing Irishmen and marching puritans. (Max capacity: hours, outdoor)

9 Our Current Hunts The Great Whisky Heist of the Distillery District Enter the world of gangsters, bootleggers, crooked cops, bareknuckle boxers and famous writers as you solve a mysterious cold case. In 1923, a shipment of whisky went missing from the Gooderham & Worts Distillery, and recently new evidence has come to light. (Max capacity: hours, outdoor, mystery) Discover Hidden Toronto Stroll beside hidden rivers, starwatch in historic Yorkville, and discover a tiny jail, a gigantic regifted present, abolitionists, Prime Ministers and kings and queens. This hunt winds through Yorkville, Queens Park, University of Toronto and the Mink Mile. (Max capacity: hours, outdoor)

10 Our Current Hunts Haunted Toronto Scavenger Hunt From the mass graveyard at Yorkville to the insane asylum which now houses our esteemed members of parliament, to the residences of some of this country s founding fathers (some of whom are still hanging around) players seek out answers to tricky questions while uncovering the dark side of old Toronto. Bring a flashlight and a steady nerve. (Max capacity: hours, outdoor, starts at dusk) Kensington and Chinatown Caper Uncover history, folklore, graffiti and street foods of the world in this scavenger hunt through Toronto s most multicultural corner. 11 Our Current Hunts Church Street Caper Hogtown may have been known as Toronto the Good a century ago, but it is full of saucy secrets. Scandalous public officials, pioneers of the 1790s and the 1970s, artists, dancers, gambling kingpins, hockey legends, and many more show up as you explore LGBTQ+ history in the city. 13 2+ hour Scavenger Hunt All our hunts offer at least 2 hours of active and engaging team building opportunity through challenging questions, physical exploration of a space, and of course, a healthy dose of sleuthing! All necessary materials We will provide your group with everything you need to enjoy the experience from start to finish. Players just need to bring comfortable shoes, water, and a sense of adventure! Qualified onsite hosts Our highly trained and engaging hosts will get everyone in your group excited for the challenge ahead, and help guide all players through the process.

15 ROM tickets All our ROM hunts (Murder at the ROM, Death at the Museum and Mummy s Curse) include museum tickets for all participants. $15 Food allowance per person The Kensington Chinatown Caper awards bonus points for trying some of the delicious foods available in the market. As part of their scavenger hunt package, teams receive an envelope of cash ($15pp) to negotiate these purchases during their game. Post hunt beer After solving the mystery of the Great Whiskey Heist in the Distillery District, your group will be able to enjoy a round of craft beer at the Distillery s own Mill Street Brewery.
