2 Game design by Dark Mirror Games, 2016 Banishment An asymmetrical, semi-cooperative card game about exorcism, Banishment pits a team of exorcists with limited resources against a powerful demon. 3 Game design 2013 Chessplex Most people are familiar with chess, but this variant takes the game further. Each square on the Chessplex board triggers a new effect when a piece lands on it. This extra strateic layer to the ancient game makes Chessplex what chess would be like if chess played chess. (That s a lot of chess for one sentence.)

4 Game design Dream of the Djinn A tabletop role-playing adventure game for 3-5 players, Dream of the Djinn features hours of gameplay into 104 pages and an A0 map, and is also available as an interactive digital PDF. Players are encouraged to explore 39 rooms full of deathtraps, puzzles and surreal scenarios, and are rewarded for solving problems through creativity and cunning. 5 App design Concept, 2015 Sustainable Fishing Australia Overfishing is a serious environmental issue facing people of all nations, and even farmed fish aren t exempt from contributing to environmental problems. This app concept aims to help people identify which Australian fish are sustainable, what specific issues face each species, and where to buy them most sustainably, if at all. The app is designed for mobile devices, making effective use of touch functionality and limited screen size. Features include geolocation to search for fish local to the immediate vicinity, and a barcode scan function for commercial products to determine where they rank on the sustainability scale.

6 Web design iinet, iinet Work on the iinet website suite was my full time job for two years. This mostly involved webpage design, wireframing, and builds in HTML and CSS with some jquery and Angular thrown in. Major tasks I was heavily involved in included the responsive rebuild of the iinet corporate suite (iinet, Westnet, and Adam Internet), creation of the interactive TV Guide, migration of iinet website systems to acquired companies, and responsive rebuild of the popular Plan Selector. Coding was done from scratch rather than leaning on a CMS, using Visual Studio and SVN and GIT version control. Significant parts of the role included fixing bugs and browser issues with comprehensive testing. EDM designs and builds also made up a huge part of the job. I would have worked on several hundred at least, including editable templates for systems like MailChimp and Campaign Monitor.

7 Web design Skylark Creative, Astara Olive Oil The Astara website design was a small website for a local olive oil business. The business ended up not launching due to unrelated factors, but the project was an enjoyable one which allowed for a colourful, vibrant feel. In addition to the website, I worked on the company branding for this project.

8 Web design Skylark Creative, Swancon 40 In , I had the pleasure of being on the event committee of Swancon 40, the 40th year of local literary science fiction convention Swancon. A volunteer job, I arranged not only the responsive web design, but the initial branding, copywriting, and print promotional materials. I also provided UI and UX consultation for the CMS back end, which was in need of an update. The Swancon webpage gets updated with a new design every year and my original code is no longer online, but I like to reference it as it was quite a significant project at the time. 9 Print design Road Safety Commission, Preliminary crash stats booklet The Road Safety Commission publishes three key publications each year, the most creative of which is the Preliminary Crash Statistics Booklet. Prior to the Commission s recent rebrand, I created the design of the 24-page 2015 booklet. I also created an interim style guide and branding for the Commission to tide the organisation over until the lengthy formal branding process could be completed, and then worked with 303MullenLowe to develop the official style guide and design assets.

10 Miscellaneous Various other creative projects Music composition I compose music in many different genres and enjoy the challenge of syncing detailed soundtracks to storyboards.
