Our mother dedicated the name of our stores to us we wanted to dedicate something to her: UASHMAMA.

3 ABOUT The story of a family, a passionate work and a touch of genius UASHMAMA: English? Australian? American? Japanese? No, it s Italian! Born in an Italian family-run company Le sorelle (we are four sisters), it should bring back to your mind the image of the mamma washing clothes for their children. Our mother dedicated the name of our stores to us we wanted to dedicate something to her: UASHMAMA. The project UASHMAMA is a sort of philosophy for Le sorelle ; it s a project that links innovation with the old techniques of our Tuscan tradition. It s a project where the protagonist is paper, a kind of paper that can be turned into someting different but that, at the same time, it s always the same. With this paper we create a lot of products that combine functionality, tradition and innovation. UASHMAMA is a paper that feels like leather, washes like fabric and flattens for easy storage. UASHMAMA paper is made using a virgin fibre from cultivation and NOT through deforestation. Not just washable paper, but also genuine leather, fabric and much more are part of this project. All UASHMAMA products are designed and made by Le sorelle in Tuscany, Italy. Old and new come together in a perfect harmony.

41 TAKE CARE ABOUT A LITTLE MORE ABOUT US WASHING INSTRUCTIONS: Paper bag: Unroll bag and wash in warm water (50 degrees) with a mild soap, then rinse thoroughly and dry flat. Hand wash only, do not machine wash, do not dry clean. Coloured paper bag: Handwash in cold water at 30 degrees. Wash seperately for the first time, the colour may discolour. Tote Bag: The tote can be handwashed in warm water using a mild detergent or soap, be sure to rinse thoroughly and reshape before drying. Apron & braces: The Apron, once removed the braces, is machine washable (maximum 30 ). The Paper Braces are hand washable with warm water and mild soap. For the first time wash the apron separately, the colour may discolour. La Busta: The Wallet can be hand washed in warm water using a mild detergent or soap, be sure to rinse thoroughly and dry flat. Do not wash the leather handle. ABOUT PAPER: Imperfections on our paper are natural, handmade. Metallic paper bag: A shimmering take on the classic washable paper bag. With time the laminate will soften and wear creating a foil like effect. This is intentional forming a part of the bags beauty.
