4 What is research date management? Digital research data are any information in binary digital form. It includes digital objects and data bases. (Ross 2010) Research data management concerns the organisation of data, from its entry to the research cycle through to the dissemination and archiving of valuable results. Sustainable establishment of the training units at the university locations. Enable the reuse of training modules at other universities. Strengthening the research data management competences/data literacy of students and graduates. Empowering the target group to work according to the principles of Good Scientific Practice. Lessons learned (so far) Content RDM training needs to be subject-related and integrated into a specific application context RDM is to be understood as part of data literacy Didactically & methodically Students wish basic input as well as discourse 90 minutes is often too short, more presence in integrated courses is not possible Solution: Basic input through elearning-courses Organizational Train RDM/data literacy from the beginning Curricular embedding into study programm is lenghty Think in the long run!
