5 MIST MS22 Sanitary Temperature Sensor w/extension Cable Applications and Uses MIST MS22 assemblies are an excellent choice where extreme operating conditions prevail in wash down situations and very wet environments. External cables will withstand washdowns and optional stainless steel armor or overbraid prevents abrasion wear. These assemblies come standard with a 1/4 diameter probe. Larger diameters or reduced tip probes are also available. Stock Items Intempco stocks the most commonly used MIST MS22 assemblies with the following features : Factory calibrated 420 ma output to a customer specified temperature range Teflon insulation 4conductor AWG 22 cable with SS Armor, 6 feet long (3M) Operating temperature range of 50 to 200 Deg. 9 MIST MS80 Sanitary Temperature Sensor w/connection Head Applications and Uses MIST MS80 assemblies are an excellent choice where extreme operating conditions prevail in wash down situations and very wet environments. Moisture and liquids accidentally entering the enclosure no longer damage the electronics, simply clean and use again. These assemblies come standard with a 1/4 diameter probe. Intempco sanitary sensors carry the 3A mark and are designed and manufactured to meet the requirements of 3A Sanitary Standards for Sensors and Sensors Fittings and Connections Number. Intempco sanitary sensors are easily installed into a tee, cross, or directly into a sanitary tube and feature all stainless steel construction. All popular sanitary connection styles available. Wetted surfaces are machined and polished to meet 3A standards and are free of pits and crevices that might shelter bacteria or impurities. Assemblies are hermetically sealed and built to withstand industrial washdowns. Intempco sanitary sensors contain an encapsulated platinum RTD Class A element providing high accuracy, repeatability and vibration resistance. 12 MIST PKIT Programming Module & Software Description The MISTKIT is used to recalibrate and rescale MIST Temperature Sensors. Two methods of calibration are available. The first, called One Point Calibration, is performed by setting the MIST Temperature Sensor to a known temperature and adjusting the 420 ma output to the corresponding value. The second method, called Two Point Calibration, is performed by setting the MIST Temperature Sensor to a known point in the operating range and then recording this point by simply clicking the corresponding button. The next step is to set the MIST Temperature Sensor to a second known point in the operating range and record it in the same manner. Finally, by clicking on the Process button, the calibration parameters are automatically calculated and saved in the MIST Temperature Sensor memory. The MIST PKIT software can also be used to rescale the MIST Temperature Sensors output within its operational limits. A choice of many standard ranges are available via a dropdown menu. Custom ranges can alos be specified. Once the range is selected, simply clicking on the Set button will automatically rescale the output and save the new values in the MIST Temperature Sensor memory.
