5 5 008 SYSTEM TROUBLESHOOTING CHART Set switches to TEST, DAY, and WHITE Check that main circuit breaker is ON, and the cover interlock switch is pulled out Is green LED 2 on micro-filter board flashing? Is LED lit on 48 VDC power supply, and is 48 VDC present at J1 on the micro-filter board? J1 J1 connections OK and Ye Y connector seated correctly? s? Replace micro-filter board Repair / replace Is 120 VAC present at 48 VDC power supply? After 2 minute delay, does red LED 1 on micro-filter board flash? Check for 120 VAC through cover interlock switch and circuit breaker Check input supply power Replace 48 VDC power supply Is the WFA alarm relay energized / LED on? WHITE error, go to WHITE CHECK ( page 26 )) Check WFA contacts Remote Alarm? 6 6 WHITE CHECK From Page 5 Once Is red LED 1 flashing once, twice, or both? Both Twice Is LED 4 on steady and LED s 2 and 3 flashing on Driver 1? Is LED 4 on steady and LED s 2 and 3 flashing on Driver 2? Swap J3 between Driver 1 and Driver 2 boards Go to Dual Failure ( page 48 ) Swap J3 between Driver 1 and Driver 2 boards flashing Is LED 1 still flashing once? Is LED 1 still twice? Swap J1 and J2 cables on micro-filter board Go to Dual Failure ( page 48 ) Swap J1 and J2 cables on micro-filter board Is LED 1 still flashing once? Is LED 1 still flashing twice? 7 7 RED CHECK From Page 5 Switches to TEST and RED Is RFA energized after a delay? Is 48 VDC present at J1 on Red Driver Board? Check RFA contacts contacts Remote Alarm indication? Remove and re-apply power Check the following BEFORE another fault occurs Check OLA coil coil and and contacts contacts Is Vdc present at Red / Black wires of terminal block? Is 48 Vdc present at J1 of micro-filter board? Go to Dual Failure ( page 8 ) Replace 48 VDC power supply Replace microfilter board Too low Voltage is: Too highh Check entire cable length for possible short(s) to ground Check entire cable length for possible open or cuts Problem fixed? 8 8 DUAL FAILURE From Page 6 Are all 4 LED s on capacitor acitor board lit? Read DC voltages at the flash head terminal block, to ground terminal block Read the highest voltage; it is normal for there to be some fluctuation Orange Vdc Purple Vdc Brown Vdc Blue Vdc Yellow Vdc Green Vdc Is 48 VDC present at J5 on capacitor acitor board? Are all voltages within these ranges? Is 48 VDC present at J1 on micro-filter board? Replace capacitor board Call Unimar Tech Repair / replace cable from J1 on micro-filter board to J5 on capacitor board Replace micro-filter board Remove power from controller Remove J3 from both Driver 1 and Driver 2 boards Read resistance between the following wires: Orange to Yellow Orange to Brown Purple to Blue Purple to Green Are the readings between 140k 160k? Read resistance from each of these wires to ground: Call Unimar Tech Purple Blue Green Orange Brown Yellow Are any of the readings below 100 kilohms?
