6 (3) PRODUCT CODE All Rapier Motor Controllers are specified by a product code system. The product code completely identifies the type of controller, its voltage and current ratings. and the options fitted. The product code appears as the Model number and is displayed on the converters rating label, it is divided into blocks of numbers which are defined as follows:- Block l Block 2 3 digits identifying the basic product, e.g digits specifying the D.C. output current rating. The digits represent a current between oo.o Amps and 30.0 Amps. The decimal point is suppressed, and leading zeros retained Amps is the maximum rating of a 510 controller. Example: 8.5 Amps = 085 Conversely: 170 = 17.0 Amps Block 3 l digit identifying the supply voltage: 0 l single 5 6 phase 7 A.C. 8 power volts Block 4 Block 5 l digit identifying whether the controller has been set for armature voltage or tachogenerator feedback. o - Armature Voltage feedback l - D.C. Tachogenerator feedback 3 digits specifying the full speed feedback calibration voltage for either tacho or armature voltage feedback. The digits represent a voltage between OV and 560V (200V for tacho feedback) rounded to the nearest volt and leading zeros present: Example: 180V = ,8V = 065 Tacho feedback voltages in excess of 200 volts should be catered for as described under calibration.
