1 MEDIUM & HIGH VOLTAGE TESTING EQUIPMENT
2 VOLTAGE WITHSTAND SGM Series Resonant Systems The SGM series are used for generating high AC voltages at a fixed frequency (mainly 50 or 60 Hz) by means of an excited variable reactor. Their main application is the voltage withstand and partial discharge testing of highly capacitive loads. Due to their low input power requirement they are the most convenient on-site testing solution for large loads. Variable frequency systems are also available as an even more practical and economic testing solution for that purpose. Highly capacitive test objects consist not only of cables and capacitors, but also large rotating machines, instrument and power transformers (withstand voltage), GIS substations, among other loads. The SGM series allows for both HVAC tests at 50/60 Hz, and at lower and/or higher frequencies ( Hz) providing a dynamic testing response to test object voltage changes (e.g. capacitors). Thanks to its low distortion level, resonant test systems are also well suited for partial discharge (PD) testing. Systems available up to 2200kV 50A - Inductance 1800kV 30A - Frequency YDTW / YDTCW Series Cylinder Type Transformer Systems Conventional high AC voltage test transformers are specially designed for factory testing (and in some cases, field testing) of objects with a low to mid-range capacitance. These systems are particularly suitable for tests that require a stable voltage level, even if the load changes during testing (objects with high partial discharge levels, or subjected to high pollution) or when dealing with inductive load types (potential transformers). The ability to stack several of these transformers over one another allows reaching very high voltages while keeping the same floor space requirements compared to the large area occupied when using tank type transformers. 3 TAN δ CAPACITANCE YL Series SF6-filled High Precision Standard Capacitors SG2008 Automatic Capacitance and Dissipation Factor Tan δ Precision Measuring Bridge The SF6-insulated standard capacitor (C n ) is used together with a capacitance & tan δ measuring bridge as a reference in comparison measurements of electrical equipment. It also can be employed as a high voltage capacitor in divider circuits with high accuracy requirements. The YL series capacitors have an over twenty years guaranteed and tested long-term stability. A wide range of different capacitances and voltage are available. Capacitors available up to 1600kV, 20nF QS Series Semi-Automatic C, L & Tan δ /Cos ϕ High Precision Measuring Bridge The QS series bridges are designed to determine -with the highest possible accuracythe capacitance and dissipation factor of electrical insulating liquids and solids, cables, capacitors, transformers, generators, motors, bushings, etc. It also can be used for measuring the power loss in shunt reactors or similar equipment. The QS bridge can perform semi-automatic measurements of dissipation factor tan δ, power factor cos φ, and capacitance. The QS series equipment has been designed as a affordable, valuable instrument for test facilities, following the principle of a simple operation. The automatic SG2008 bridge is designed to measure the electrical dissipation factor tan δ and capacitance C of test objects within an environment with high levels of electromagnetic interference, such as power plants or substations. The SG2008 can also be used in the lab for high accuracy testing of: bushings, transformer windings (1/2/3 coils), shunt reactors, current transformers, voltage transformers (CVT), circuit breaker capacitors, surge arresters and other electrical equipment. The SG2008 is an all-in-one device that includes: a precision digital bridge, a 12 kv/200 ma power source, a standard capacitor (C n ), and other electronic circuits. An external power supply and standard capacitor can be added to extend its testing rage. Its light weight allows it to be highly portable. Its operation is intuitive and simple thanks to its complete automation of all processes. Its high performance is guaranteed by the full digital processing of all information. Range: Accuracy: Capacitance 3pF μF 0. 5% rdg ± 5 x 10-5 Tan δ 1x x % rdg ± 5 x 10-5 PARTIAL DISCHARGE ANALYZER SG4008 Partial Discharge Detection and Measurement The digital multichannel SG4008 partial discharge analyzer was developed by SAMGOR to include all the latest innovations in the PD measurement field. The SG4008 has a wide anti-interference range. You can collect data independently through its 2, 4 or 6 channels and show it in the main display. On-screen information can be used to analyze partial discharge levels and patterns of the electrical equipment under test. The system has several display options: conventional phase diagram, three-dimensional, frequency resolution graphs, etc. By adding an audible tester the user can accurately determine the spatial location of partial discharges in test objects. This type of tester is widely used to locate and detect partial discharges in test objects such as dry transformers, switches, circuit breakers, cable terminals and other various electrical equipment.
4 HIGH VOLTAGE AND CURRENT IMPULSE CDY Series Impulse Voltage & Current Generator The CDY series consists of Marx type generators that produce high voltage/current impulses. In order to simulate lightning and switching surges, impulse generators can have different designs depending on their structure and energy level (S, E, L, M), guaranteeing the lowest inductance possible in every design. Applications include testing according to IEC and -3, ANSI, IEEE and other applicable national electrical standards. The basic system can be adapted in numerous ways for special tests and for greater ease of use, at the same time, these additional circuits and components optimize the impulse test system to match the different requirements of all kind of high voltage test objects. They can also be designed to produce 8/20μs impulse current waveforms required in surge arrester tests (including an inductor). The CDY series generators are ideal for transportation and easy on-site assembly due to their unique patented modular structure. Samgor also has its own design of mobile impulse generators that can be lifted on-site within minutes by means of a hydraulic mechanism avoiding otherwise valuable, time-consuming assembling maneuvers. 5 HV POWER PCTS Series Power Capacitor Test System The PCTS Series (Power Capacitor Test System) are self-contained test sets incorporating all the required features for testing power capacitors. The PCTS solution can be tailored to meet specific manufacturing line requirements, making testing MV & HV. The PCTS has been designed with all these requirements in mind, in order to perform as a multifunctional tool for power capacitor testing. All supported tests are performed in conformity with GB/T and IEC CABLE & BUS BARS HCTS Series Heat Cycle Test System The Heat Cycle Test System Series -HCTS- is designed to raise and control the temperature of conductors such as cables and bus bars and other low impedance electrical conductors, in order to simulate the thermal loading conditions found in electrical circuits with current levels up to 10,000A. The HCTS Series are mainly used to heat the conductor up to temperatures as high as 150 C using the test object loop as an actual transformer secondary. Its working principle is based on taking advantage of the short circuit impedance of this secondary. The current can be controlled in order to maintain the required core conductor temperature. Measurement of the conductor temperature is made by means of a direct contact of insulated K-type thermocouple probes. According to IEC and other related standards, during heat cycling tests, a high AC voltage needs to be applied on the cable as well. In order to avoid the thermocouples from contacting the cable core at HV potential, a control temperature loop is used, which is not subjected to the withstand voltage but only the induced current. 6 DISTRIBUTION & POWER TRANSFORMER TESTING SETS TTS TEST SYSTEM DTTS - Distribution transformers / PTTS - Power Transformers DTTS and PTTS test systems are independent test sets that include all the required features for routine and type testing of transformers at distribution and transmission levels. The TTS can be completely designed to customer requirements for both lab and on-site testing. Distribution and transmission transformers are high-quality products with strict requirements stemming from their highly important role in the electrical power grid. They are required to have a high quality, be efficient, reliable and have a high performance. The TTS can perform the following tests in either manual or totally automated operation: load-loss tests, temperature rise, withstand voltage, induced voltage tests, etc. The TTS systems can be automated according to customer needs and minimize manual intervention to keep the duration of the tests of a single transformer within the shortest time possible. TTS are multifunctional tools of utmost value for manufacturers and labs. All tests are performed according to IEC, IEEE / ANSI, GB and GOST. All commercial power and voltage levels are available. DTLTS Series Automatic TTR, Resistance & Insulation tester SG7601/7602 Recurrent Surge Generator The DTLTS Series are a single connection, automatic TTR, resistance an insulation testers. Once all transformer terminals have been connected to the DTLTS, testing follows automatically while all results are displayed on-screen and stored. It can perform measurements in single and three-phase transformers increasing throughput by significantly reducing standard testing times, while being reliable and easy top operate at the same time. Database configuration and management as well as pass-fail criteria configuration further enhance its performance. The SG7601/7602 is a digital recurrent source generator with the largest adjustable waveform range in the market. It is the low voltage equivalent of an HV impulse generator. With only one stage its wide range of applications include model testing, research of voltage distribution in high voltage windings during impulse voltage stresses and the estimation of the impulse circuit parameters for full HV impulse test setups. Its impulse voltage peak value can be adjusted in the 0-500V range with a 20 Hz frequency. Its output can be measured by any oscilloscope, or, by adding the SG7602, a 14 bit portable, windows 7-based waveform analyzer fitted with a friendly touch screen interface. 7 MOBILE TESTING EQUIPMENT MOBILE POWER TRANSFORMER TEST SYSTEM (MPTTS) The MPTTS Series are used in the testing and diagnosis of single and three phase power transformers, based on the ANSI / IEEE C and IEC standards. The MPTTS lab can be used to evaluate and diagnose transformers both on-site and in factory settings, It can be used for routine testing, diagnosis, research, etc. Its semi-automatic operation and its real time report generation provide an user-friendly experience. Systems available to test up to 30MVA, 35kV secondary transformers MOBILE AC RESONANT TEST SYSTEM (TUNABLE FREQUENCY) The AC variable frequency resonant test system covers a very wide capacitive load range as required in the testing of GIS, cables and other capacitive test objects. All technical requirements according to IEC and IEC its performance is guaranteed within a range of approx. 10% to 100% its rated voltage. Systems available up to 800kV and up to 8A MOBILE IMPULSE GENERATOR SYSTEM Traditional IVGs are testing systems that require on-site assembly and disassembly every time they are taken on-site. Our mobile IVGs are systems that require minimal assembly and can be ready to use on site within minutes thanks to their hydraulic erection system.
