4 LED STRIP ORDER CHART choose your colour temperature & IP rating decide on your LED Strip wattage & lumen requirements Choose from Single colour: 2700k, 3000k, 4000k, 6000k Tunable White RGB, RGBW IP Rating: IP20, IP65 Focus on your lumen requirements. This will give you the best indication of each LED Strip s brightness. pick your Aluminium Extrusion 30.6 mm 20.2 mm 23.5 mm 10 mm - Our Aluminum Extrusions allow you to install LED Strip in a number of applications. - Extrusions are essential in acting as a heat sink and thus enabling your LED Strip to operate at a cooler temperature, enhancing product life. calculate how many, what type & which wattage Driver is required Please refer to our Driver/LED Strip compatibility charts when deciding on suitable driver wattages. p.46 and p.53. 5 2 ounce PCB all of our LED Strip products feature a 2 oz PCB board, enabling greater product longevity and use of longer LED Strip runs. Self-Adhesive All our LED Strip features a powerful 300MP adhesive. This offers exceptional heat resistance, thus ensuring products are secure and do not peel off surfaces with time. Efficiency A common belief associated with older forms of lighting, is that higher wattages equate to better and brighter light outputs. we strive to gain the most efficiency out of our LED products and our focus is on achieving the most lumen output from the least wattage. Chip Binning Due to the manufacturing process of LED chips, it is difficult to produce exactly the same colour temperature on consecutive batches. This factor can cause major issues to installers when purchasing products for on-going projects over a prolonged time period, or if simply requiring product replacements. we combat this issue via three factors, 1. Using high quality LED chips with a maximum variance of kelvins. 2. Securing a bulk of LED components at a time and implementing a rigorous batch stocking process. 3. A photometric report archive of all sold LED Strip enables us to trace back the exact colour temperature of any order. Service LED Strip can be a technically challenging product. This LED Strip category is recommended for installations that require the ability to blend-in and produce a variety of moods. 34 How to achieve a Linear effect with your LED Strip Linear Effect When LED Strip is installed in areas where its light source (LED Chips) is in view or positioned onto a reflective surface, a dotted effect can be noticed. In most applications such as cove lighting or some forms of feature lighting, this will not be a factor as LED Strips will be hidden away behind skirting boards or other interior features. However applications that do require LED Strip to be installed in view, users may wish to achieve a linear (no dotted effect).
