2 Hybrid Cable Assemblies PRODUCT OVERVIEW Copper & Fiber in one cable! One cable run for power and data cuts down on installation time! Hybrid cable assemblies allow a single cable run to provide data over fiber and power over copper between a source and remote locations where local power may not be easily accessible. This helps provide greater flexibility when designing and implementing systems where PoE devices will be required. Hybrid cable assemblies can be easily configured to work with our and Power Patch Panel PoE extension systems to accommodate almost any application. 3 Hybrid Cable Assemblies PRODUCT OVERVIEW The maximum cable length limits for various configurations are determined by considering the following. The max length of fiber based on both the fiber type and Ethernet speed (see figure 2 below), AND The max length of copper required based on the wire gauge and power levels (see figure 1 below) After consulting both tables, always select the lowest value specified between the two.
