MTS Systems Corporation, Automation Division, developed and manufactures these industry proven Eurocard amplifiers and mechanical racks in Germany, specifically for high-volume rackmount applications. To meet the competitive needs of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) machine designers, we knew we had to make them very cost-effective. They are. At the same time, we knew OEM designers, working in a rack-mount environment, wanted compact size combined with good performance characteristics for low-power, multi-axis applications. Our Eurocard products and mechanical rack deliver that, too. Digital or Analog - Take Your Pick Our analog TBF series four-quadrant servo amplifiers are designed to control brushless, synchronous servo motors. This extremely efficient, reliable, compact design is accomplished through the use of SMD and MOSFET technology. The digital SFD amplifier line is also designed as a four-quadrant servo controller with integrated positioning system. The SFD is a cost-effective solution for applications ranging from torque mode to simple positioning profiles. These amplifiers can handle brushless servomotors 250W to 720W. 2 Eurocard Solutions Overview Multi-Axis Eurocard 9 Rack System The right rack system can help OEMs deliver machines that are efficient to operate and accessible to maintain. The Mechanical Rack System from MTS Automation give you clean, efficient 9 mounting with front and wall mount options. They house either our SFD (Digital) or TBF (Analog) Amplifier/Controller Cards. The Power Supply series contains the toroidal transformer necessary for operation of the servo amplifiers. The power supply rack can be fitted with servo amplifier and bus boards, depending on the technical requirements for single or multi-axis systems. These racks are available in wall or front mount options.
