SAFTY HK-OUT After correcting the original service problem, perform the following safety check before releasing the set to the customer: heck the antenna terminals, metal trim, metallized knobs, screws, and all other exposed metal parts for A leakage. heck leakage as described below. The limit indication is 0.75 V, so analog meters must have an accurate low-voltage scale. The Simpson 50 and Sanwa SH-6Trd are examples of a passive VOM that is suitable. 10 ST-D075 Ver. STION 4 TST MOD Factory Set Mode All preset contents are reset to the default setting. Procedure: While pressing the [ST UP] and [DIMM] buttons, press the?/ button to turn on the main power. The message TUN FATOY PST appears and the present contents are reset to the default values. All lear Mode All preset contents are cleared when this mode is activated. Use this mode before returning the product to clients upon completion of repair. Procedure: While pressing the [A.F.D.] and [SOUND FID MOD] buttons, press the?/ button to turn on the main power. The message MMOY ADd appears and the memories are reset to the default values. Sound Field lear Mode The preset sound field is cleared when this mode is activated. Use this mode before returning the product to clients upon completion of repair. Procedure: While pressing the [SOUND FID MOD] button, press the?/ button to turn on the main power. The message S.F Initialize appears and initialization is performed. Fluorescent Indicator Tube Test Mode All fluorescent segments are tested. When this test is activated, all segments turn on at the same time, then each segment turns on one after another. Procedure:. While pressing the [A.F.D.] and [DIMM] buttons, press the?/ button to turn on the main power.. All segments turn on at the same time, then each segment turns on press the [A.F.D.] button. AM hannel Step 9 khz/0 khz Selection Mode ither the 9 khz step or 0 khz step can be selected for the AM channel step. Procedure:. Set the FUNTION to AM. Press the?/ button to turn off the main power.. While depressing the [PST TUNING +] button, press the?/ button to turn on the main power.. ither the message AM 9kHz Step or AM 0kHz Step appears. Select the desired step. Version Mode When this mode is used, the microprocessor version number is displayed. Procedure: Press three buttons of [SHIFT], [SOUND FID MOD] and [TUNING --] simultaneously. The microprocessor version number appears. DSP Test Mode This test is conducted to check if the DSP functions normally. Procedure:. While pressing the [DISPAY]and [TUNING +] buttons, press the I/ button to turn on the main power.. If the DSP is normal, the message WS :000 :000 SYN appears.. If the DSP is abnormal, characters other than 0 appears at the 000 part of the message. Note: WS characters of the message correspond to the digits of 000. W means read/write from the system controller (I70) to the DSP, and S means the communication between DSP and S-AM (I50, I60). For example, if the writing of the system controller failed, 0*0 (* is a character other than 0) appears. Also, and indicates DSP (I50) and DSP (I60), and :000 and :000 show the test results of DSP and DSP respectively. Demonstration Mode Procedure: While pressing the [ST UP] button simultaneously, press the?/ button to turn on the main power. The set enters the DMO mode. Wait a while, then the demonstration starts. If the?/ button is pressed often the demonstration has started, the power is turned off, and the demonstration resumes if the?/ button is pressed again. 0
