INFORMATION ON COBRA LRL AND AREA SEARCH METHODS In ancient times, before there were any metal detectors, underground imaging systems and resistivity devices for finding gold reserves, water sources, underground cavities, silver and iron ores, people had performed searches with very primitive methods, using simple metal rods, today namely called rods, they had made by diverse methods in order to find troves or mine ores. But it should not be forgotten that these people had an excellent skills and techniques for reading the terrain, pre-exploration and trailing. And they had nothing else. Though these rods were not that reliable, they could achieve the result by their experience and knowledge. At present, with the development of electronic devices and the supportive features of chemical elements, scanners and detectors, with which you can find precious metal ores and troves from remote distances for the search of treasuries and troves. Finding the location of precious metals from remote distances will not be difficult by the usage of the COBRA LRL area scanning detector with very developed and technological electronic circuits, being used by a skilled and experienced operato
The COBRA LRL 500 M is able to perform searches at a distance up to m. COBRA LRL is developed in order to allow you to search and determine gold, silver, bronze, copper, diamond, emerald, aluminium, iron, water, caves and cavities perfectly in a distance up to m by its filtering feature. You can perform searches in the mode you wish in a frequency range between 001 and 999 and set the frequency you desire and perform searches thanks to its electronic circuits. Another great feature of COBRA LRL is the depth calculation feature, that it has the feature to determine the depth of the found object by performing a depth estimation calculation between 1 m to 15 m. American microprocessors and many other integrated circuits, transistors etc. are used. USER S GUIDE FOR THE SINGLE ANTENNAS OF THE COBRA LRL DETECTORS Prior to starting to search with COBRA LRL, after having assembled the frequency box, fastened on the wais, and the connection arms, the receiver antennas should be held horizontal to the ground at wais level, and the search should be initiated. During the search works, the antennas should be kept horizontal to the ground and it should be walked with slow steps and allowed the antennas to catch the target and direct towards it. The antennas should be held as indicated on the images below. When the Cobra search detector starts to detect the target, it will be seen that the antennas start to rotate towards the direction of the target. When the COBRA LRL is over the target, it will be seen that the antennas cross each other. Detailed explained information is to be found in the schematic drawings below and the directing methods are explained. 4
SINGLE USE TARGET DETERMINATION OF THE COBRA LRL DETECTOR Since it always needs to remain balance, don t turn the antennas of the COBRA LRL to the left or right and don t move them up and down when you are walking. You can make comfortably practices for hours by this usage method. You will not be able to receive proper electromagnetic signals from objects unless you have learned this technique. Make practices until you have a good control of the antennas and protect the stable and balanced position on the antennas. You can make these practices in a closed area like your home or outside. When you make your practices, you will see that the antennas cross each other and then regularly get their old position back. Don t bother about this, it is very normal during the first try outs. The antennas might move due to the magnetic fields of the globe when your body should be excessively sensitive. The most important thing is to continue with the practices until you learn to hold the antennas balanced and stable. It is normal that new beginners feel some clumsiness. You might start to lose the control when the air should be windy, but you will see that it is possible to use the antenna properly and easily after a couple hours of practice. After being sure that you use the antennas properly, begin to make practices for buried targets with your COBRA LRL area scanning detector. ANTENNA USER S GUIDE BY TWO PERSONS MUTUALLY OF THE COBRA LRL DETECTOR Attach the hooks of the two person mutual usage antennas of the COBRA LRL area scanning detector and mount them to the bio-energy filled tubes and then you can start with the usage and exploration methods together with your partner by holding these in your hands at belt level. That, what you need to pay attention on when using the COBRA LRL by four persons is that the antennas are always in contact with each other, like slightly pushing them towards each other, and thus you will obtain perfect results. Beside this, the usage will be easy and comprehensible for particularly new beginning users. When the target is started to be detected by the COBRA LRL, it will be seen that the antennas bend towards the direction of the target. It will be continued to walk when the antennas show the same direction when we perform the same application after having walked 20 or 30 m in the direction of the target. When we pass thelocation of the target, the antennas will bend like folding down. HOW TO PERFORM THEMOUNTING, CHARGING AND CONNECTIONS The colour TFD display indicator with filtering feature of the COBRA LRL includes a charger, on the waist fastened 4 mode frequency box at 12 V ma, 12 V ma battery used at the depth computation and a 12 V ma power supply and is charged at 220 Volt power. Connect to the charger when the battery indicator on the display box gets weak due to decreasing voltage. Connect to the charger when the sound and signals of the on the wais fastened 4mode frequency box should get weak. The power supply, used at the depth computation, should be charged after 2 depth computation try outs. In order to perform searches in Gold mode with the COBRA LRL, you should ram the electrode rods of the frequency transmitter with filtering screen 5 cm deep into the soil, turn it on, set it to the gold mode and start with the target and area scanning. 5
1- In order to perform searches in Gold mode with the COBRA LRL, you should ram the electrode rods of the frequency transmitter with filtering screen 5 cm deep into the soil, turn it on, set the frequency to the 4.7 gold mode and start with the target and area scanning. 2- In order to search for tunnel entrances, king tombs, chamber tombs, closed wells and closed entrances underground, set the frequency to the 0.00 space mode and start with the target and area scanning. 3- You can start with your search in order to find and determine underground water sources and water basins with the COBRA LRL by setting the frequency to 2.4 in the filtering colour TFD screen menu. NOTE: The frequency setting 2.4 is applicable to searches between 20 and 60 m; increase the frequency in the manual frequency settings for deeper or surface searches. Decrease the frequency setting at surface searches. 4- For Al metal searches with COBRA LRL, you can start your target and area scanning by setting the frequency to the 3.3 search frequency by the frequency button on the display with filtering. COBRA LRL will perform a general environment scanning and a pre-exploration at this search frequency. The locations directed and determined by the search antennas are confirmed by the other search modes and it is tried to determine what the target and the object is. 6
5- What means the ability to perform manual searches at manual frequency settings with the COBRA LRL? You can perform searches at your desired frequency in a frequency range between 0.01 and 999 SAMPLE: Target determination and search options by setting to frequencies of structures like gold, space, water, silver, bronze, diamond, copper, zinc, iron. WITH COBRA LRL, YOU CAN SET THE FREQUENCY, LANGUAGE, LIGHT, SOUND, DISTANCE YOU DESIRE FROM THE MAIN MENU OR THE - OR + BUTTONS. 7
TARGET DETERMINATION WITH THE COBRA LRL DETECTOR VISUAL EXPLANATION OF HOW TO DETERMINE THE LOCATION SIGNAL OF BURIED TARGETS AND HOW TO TRACK IT 1- The operator constitutes a full circle around the main device. 2- The antenna close to the antenna will direct towards the target itself. 3 The operator holds the antennas around the axis of the location signals in a distance of cm from each other and walks towards the target. 4 When the operator moves to the left of the signal direction, the left antenna will turn to the right and indicate that the operator needs to walk to the right. 5 - When the operator moves to the right of the signal direction, the right antenna will turn to the left and it indicates that the operator needs tomove to the right. 6 - The operator needs to move towards the target in the signal field. 7- The more theoperator approaches the target, the more come the antenna tips closer. 8. When the operator is above the target, the antennas will constitute a cross with each other TARGET DETERMINATION IN FIELDS WITH MINERALS BY USING A FILTER This method must be definitely used in locations with rich gold and other minerals in the soil. The operator will direct in the direction of the antennas in order to track the signal route. The operator determines the location of the target when the antennas constitute a cross with each other. When the user operator passes the location of the target, the antennas will turn back towards the location of the target. 1- The operator constitutes a circle of 5 m diameter around the main device in order to determine the direction of the buried target. 2- The more the antennas get away from the target, the more will the antennas direct towards the centre. 3 The operator walks by performing test determinations in order to receive soil signals 4 After having determined the signal direction, he walks on that path, passes the filter and follows the direction of the antennas. 5 The operator directs to the left since the right antenna directs towards left. 6 The operator directs to the left again since the right antenna directs towards left. 7- The more the operator approaches the target, the more will the antenna tips come close to each other. 8. The antennas will constitute a cross when the operator is above the target. 8
DETERMINING THE TARGET CENTRE FROM FOUR DIRECTIONS WITH THE COBRA LRL This method helps the operator at determining the location of a buried target more accurately. The operator constitutes a square with its edges 5 m away from the centre around the target area determined before. Whilst doing so, the antennas closer to the target need to be held lower. When the feet of the operator show in the same direction as the target, the antenna will direct towards the target. It would be better to determine the location of the target from four directions. PREVENTION OF A DEPTH CHANGE WHEN EXCAVATING THE DETERMINED TARGET There may be failures at the target points determined by a detector over some problematic areas. For example, let s consider an object in a depth of 3 m. When the target location changes every one metre during the excavations, the centre of the target should be controlled by the antenna method. Thus, the excavation will take less time and be correct. For failures at such type of determinations, double determinations with search detectors and underground imaging radars will deliver more accurate results. DETERMINATION OF THE CENTRE OF A BURIED TROVE The form and dimensions of targets like treasure boxes, metal boxes, tomb areas etc. can approximately be determined by this method. A radiation area is generated around the target equal to the depth of the target. The closer the operator gets to the target area, the antennas will cross each other by each step in the radiation area. Place a sign in front of your feet when you are at the edges. When the operator moves to the corner outside, the exterior antenna will direct inwards. The closer the operator gets to the target, when he sets to the lateral edge, the antennas will start to close and constitute a cross over the target
DEPTH COMPUTATION MEASUREMENT MENTHODS OF THE COBRA LRL AREA SCANNING DETECTOR. The steps below should be followed for depth computation by the COBRA LRL Area Scanning Detector method. We will use; 2 x chrome rods of 25 cm length (in a diameter of 15 m) Cable up to 15 m Battery & Power Source. Centre Boşluk FOUND TARGET Each one chrome rod is rammed into the soil in distances of 1m, 3m, 5m, 7m from the centre out in both directions in order to compute the depth. Energy is supplied to the chrome rods and the movements of the scanning rods are observed. Centre point Stepping from the centre outward Stepping from the centre outward 1 m 1 m Centre Boşluk FOUND TARGET NOTE : Energy is applied with a 12 V ma battery for 1 minute to the centre point during the depth computation. The electrode rods are rammed 7,5 m to the left and 7,5 m to the right and the depth computation is performed by walking outwards from the centre by the stepping method.. 10
DEPTH COMPUTATION MEASUREMENT MENTHODS OF THE COBRA LRL AREA SCANNING DETECTOR. 3 m 3 m Centre Boşluk FOUND TARGET 5 m 5 m Centre Boşluk FOUND TARGET 7 M 7 m M m Centre Boşluk FOUND TARGET After the chrome rods are rammed into the soil, energy is supplied and the movements of the scanning rods, kept in the centre, are observed and the distance, where the change occurs, gives us the depth of the searched space. SAMPLE: For the computation of the depth of an object, 1 m below the ground, it is walked by the stepping method from the centre outwards and when the area scanning rods cross each other during the walk, the distance to the centre is measured and thus the estimated depth is determined. When there should be no movement when energy is supplied to the rods, rammed in 1 m distance, then we ram it in a distance of 2 m and repeat the same application by supplying energy. The same application should be performed at 3 m, 5 m and 7 m depth computations and by the distance between the rods rammed into the soil and the point where the area scanning rods move is the center computed and the depth measurement method is completed.1
