Optimized for LOW LOSS, these circulators typically operate at 00 Watts cw, 900 Watts peak power level. The units are designed for efficient heat transfer, however heat sinking must be adequate to transfer the internally dissipated power (from less than 2 Watts in the circulator to about 0 watts for the isolator absorbing rated reverse power.) The forward power rating may be raised by providing adequate heat sinking to keep the circulator body temperature within the rated temperature range of -0 C to + 70 C and will not be damaged by even greater temperature extremes (-30 C to + 90 C).
