5 has 16 years experience in radio frequency engineering having worked in the military, aerospace and industrial fields. Xerius has developed more than 160 electronic products since its start in In 2011, following a request from the Emirates to develop the first VHF/GPS transmitter to localise hunting falcons. Xerius won the technological challenge and still now, the system conceived by Xerius is not matched by its competitors. In 2012, CLS asked Xerius to develop a new Goniometer. The current technology was the size of a suitcase and now inadequate for the market. It detected only one tag at a time using a short wave length. Xerius developed the Argos Platform Finder, the Goniometer RXG-134. This leading edge product distributed exclusively by CLS had made Xerius more visible to the scientific community. Today, Xerius is not only a state of the art Radio Frequency Research facility to which projects are subcontracted but also a leading manufacturer in the field of animal tracking. In 2013, Xerius conceived the first Argos/GPS/VHF transmitter with an integrated receiver. All this sits in tag which weight started at 18gr. This new device allows direct communication at long range without the need of a Wifi network. These features are unique in the world. It was then, that Xerius realised the value added it could bring to the scientific community. Later this year, Xerius Tracking sub-division was created. Xerius wants to contribute to understand and safeguard biodiversity for future generations. Animal tracking will help save endangered species and protect sources of animal welfare. 5

Continuous innovation is not only necessary but vital. This is why our team explores new materials and techniques continuously. We are also curious to integrate these new findings in our latest customer s application. 10 ARGOS & GPS PTT Alteos In recent years technological advances allows us Xerius to develop a unique product: an animal tracker Argos & GPS PTT with a local link integrated. A jewel of technology, Alteos is currently the only equipped with highly efficient mats solar panels limiting predation. It is also equipped with a VHF local link for updating and downloading data from your tag. No need to capture anymore the animal for collecting or updating your tag! Alteos should allows scientists to obtain reliable and usable data.

12 Fondamental Local Link USB Key Lite We work closely with scientists, federations and associations. To be closer to their need of being independent, our Research and Development team has decided to tag each fully programmable by the user without going through the manufacturer. It is also a time saver for everyone! " Simplify and optimize" is the credo of Xerius for its products. Therefore, USB Key Lite also allows to download datas collected in real time. A scientist must be Master of his tool to be Master of his study.

17 Stratus II Track easily Xerius s experience in the development of military products, industrial and aerospace allows him to design highly technological products. Stratus II is mainly for tracking birds. This system has an high level of sensitivity, range and accuracy. Stratus II is equipped with GPS system (Global Positioning System) for an accurate geolocation and a VHF link (Very High Frequencies) to a local and direct communication. Stratus II* was designed in partnership with users demand, requiring precision used for other applications. A beautiful statement challenge! * This product was developped for one of our customer 19

20 BioLoc A pluritechnological product BioLoc project is developed in partnership with scientists and federations to meet their requirements in the field. We note that if there are diversified technology for the localization of migratory animals, there are none adapted to the instantaneous tracking of a sedentary animal population. BioLoc is a breakthrough product. It consists to miniature transmitters (birds tags); only 10g with GPS, autonomous and reusable. These tags are coupled with a receiver (centrale) completely autonomous thanks to solar panels. This unit allows to receive in real time all tags without human mouvement. The centrale then sends the data directly on a GSM network. Bioloc combines technological innovation and use of innovation to offer a future supply that will improve the knowledge of animal behavior. BioLoc project provides scientific cutting edge technology in order to know and preserve biodiversity for future generations. It forms a protective approach to biodiversity and sustainable development.

23 Pio Tx Micro technology & performance The fauna is constituted of a multitude of individuals. Today, we know little about the behavior and lifestyle of small animals. It is in this technological context that Pio Tx is important. It provides an answer to Science. Pio Tx is smaller than a piece of 0.01 and weighs less than 0.5 grams. It is compatible with a Stratus II Rx and with the Goniometer providing an highest autonomy. Pio Tx is a jewel of technology developed in response to a global need. Combined with Xerius reception technology, Pio Tx reveals his best performance. 25

25 Antennas The 3 elements YAGI antenna is compatible with Stratus II Rx and any type of VHF tag. The programmed frequency is 220MHz. Xerius developed a very clever and practical system to fold and unfold the antenna. His "gun" handle provides a good hold of the material. The whip antenna is compatible with Stratus II Rx. Its frequency is programmable depending on the tag used. Equipped with a magnetic base, the antenna can be used on the roof of a car to track birds. The antenna is provided with a coaxial cable. 27

26 Chargers The Stratus II Tx beacon is rechargeable through this 3 elements block. Recharging is fast via USB or a standard outlet. Xerius developed a battery charger designed specifically for Stratrus Tx II. It is ergonomic and robust. No longer risk to track without battery!

27 Warranties & After-sales service All products and prototypes are designed and conceived in house. Each product is designed according to the QCD triptych : Cost Quality Delay This gives Xerius full control with regards to product quality. The quality of the finish product is due to the opened and honest relationship established between supplier and user. Product are traceable. Any problematic is easily detected, understood and corrected. We advise our clients to contact us when a problem arises. However, at this date, Xerius has had no product return due to malfunctioning or engineering issues. Xerius cares about resource efficiency. Xerius produces prototypes at cost that could compete with the consumer market. General warranties last 2 years. 29
