2 Laser Diistance Sensor LMC-J-0050-x Precise Robust Reflectorless Multi-Bus Measuring distances with millimeter accuracy Accurate positioning Motion detection / Contour detection Level gauging Measures surfaces up to 1200 C The LMC-J-0050-x is an opto-electronic distance measuring module for industrial application. The device uses a contact less measurement technique based on comparative phase measurement with amplitude modulation. The laser diode has a divergence of 0.6 mrad for measurement with pinpoint accuracy The measurement data is available through different interfaces for further processing. A digital switching output and an analogue output (4..20mA) are also available. The sensor alignment can easily be achieved using the red laser spot. The sensor is built in a IP 66 housing which is made for heavy industry area. It includes a special dust protection chamber, which keeps the sensor window much longer clean. As ad on, water cooling and air purge nozzles are available. It comes including a spring cushioned three point bracket for easy and safe installation. 2 different base plates for horizontal and vertical installation are available. Mainly developed for very hot target up to 1380 C. The module operates on basis of non-contact comparative phase measurement with amplitude modulation. The Laser diode (cw operation) has a divergence of 0.6 mrad for measurement with pinpoint accuracy. The Measuring range is on any natural surface between 0,2 to 50m, for 50 to 100m it depends on the surface reflectivity coefficient (f.e. concrete 30%, white paper 90%) and for distances up to 150 m we can deliver special reflector foil with a very high reflectivity coefficient. The sensor alignment can be easily achieved with the help of the red pilot laser. 6 Option: Extented Protection Tube With the extended front pipe, you have the possibility to use the sensor in dustier environment. The longer tube is also an additional splash guard if the sensor is used in an area with hot liquid. Option: Exchange Window Easy exchangeable filter, used in areas with hot liquid and splash hazard. If hot material damages the filter, you can replace it in a matter of minutes. This operation does not need qualified personal. It is therefore an easy and cost effective protection solution. 8 Option: Heating for LMC-J-00X0 The heating option widens the thermal operational range of the sensor, with minimal temperatures sinking down to - 25 C. The Sensor features an additional plug for the heating power supply at the back side.
