2 Officers The Pilchuck Camera Club Bulletin Serving members from the Puget Sound Area of Washington State The Pilchuck Camera Club was organized June 12, 1964 and is a member of the Photographic Society of America (PSA) and the Northwest Council of Camera Clubs (NWCCC). Membership is open to anyone interested in color or monochromatic digital photography. Club meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month in the Baker Heights Social Hall, 1401 Poplar Street, Everett, WA.. 3 PILCHUCK CAMERA CLUB MINUTES AUGUST 11, 2011 BY SONYA LANG SECRETARY The August meeting of the Pilchuck Camera Club was called to order by President Jim Basinger at 7:10pm. There were 13 members present and 3 guests, Suzie Alborne, Rich McNeil and Sharon Ely. The minutes of the June meeting are approved as printed in the Pilchucker. Correspondence received: None Treasurer s report: Treasurer Shirley Stich presented the treasurer s report. The current balance is $ Committee Reports: Membership: none Social: September need sign up. October Kevin November - Sonya Sunshine: Steve reports for Janet -no cards sent this month PSA Representative: Kevin brought PSA journals. Upcoming Field Trips: Mt. Baker Camera Club has invited our club to join them for the scavenger hunt show on September 9th. Discussion on the late wild flower season due to snow and no date set at this time. Discussion about northern lights and best places to view, no date set at this time. NWCCC: Renata reports there is a conference in November and will get the information out soon. Janet requested to purchase additional certificates as stock is low. The club voted in acceptance for Janet to make the purchase of additional certificates. I spotted this little boy all colorful dressed, and riding his bicycle in the parade. I used a cannon 30D DSLR with a canon wide angle lens with a polarizer to take this picture of Bicycle Sam on a sunny day. in July, thats it. 4
