1 Section 1: Screen Design 1.1 What is it for? WHITEBOARDSCREEN SERIES The revolutionary whiteboard marker erasable front projection screen is well designed for bright environments. Multiscreen combines the function of high gain screen and whiteboard. With 2 in 1 design, save your space, save your cost, enjoy the superior image quality and the convenience. 1.2 How does it work? Using Elite s Starbright4 projection material that has a brightness four times greater than a standard matte white projection surface, the new WhiteBoardScreen uses multi-layered design that concentrates reflected light to create a bright image; its following layers diffuse the intensity to control hot-spotting which is a difficult task in all high gain materials and finally, it eliminates the wash-out effect by filtering out ambient light to provide a clear picture. These layers rest on a primed sheet of galvanized steel for total flatness and magnetic attraction, which is useful when writing references on the screen during a lecture. Section 2: Screen Material 2.1 Characteristics Front Projection Screen Material Elite s StarBright 4 is perfect for environments where total ambient light control cannot be attained. The StarBright 4 material brings 4 times brightness than a standard 1.0 gain screen. The material is easy to write on with a dry-erase marker and easily erases with a special high density eraser. The screen material is an angular reflective high gain material which means the projector s light reflects off the StarBright 4 s screen material in angular way. In order to take advantage of the high 4.0 gain the audience must be within the viewing angle cone to best view the projected image at full brightness. Manufacturer note: For best results, ALWAYS and ONLY use Elite s high density eraser and clean the screen surface with the cleaning solution. 1
