BÄRO carries out research and development work with a focus on environmental compatibility, energy conservation and energy cost reduction to benefit the environment and business. 6 BÄRO at a glance BÄRO design modern, clear stylistic elements. BÄRO luminaires can be easily combined thanks to the design and shape elements. Recessed, surface and suspended luminaires, as well as light tube and rail systems, can be fitted with virtually any BÄRO lighting technology (MBFL, BBS, LED) and can be individually planned as part of a lighting concept, depending on the lighting requirement. Luminaire technology is available on request in all RAL colours and with various finishes perfectly matched to the store building concept

7 Why new lighting? For more sales. Light is a top priority for sales promoters in the retail sector and is directly responsible for spontaneous purchases and therefore for more sales. Light draws people in! Many satisfied customers report that sales increases of more than 50% were achieved (depending on the location of the business) - just by replacing the lighting technology. For lower power and other running costs. Lighting, like any other technology, is continually developing. Light output is continually improving, and energy consumption is being continually reduced. Outdated lighting technology generally provides inadequate light output, but requires a disproportionately large amount of power. Fading or drying out of goods, or changes in the colour or consistency: the wrong light is often responsible for considerable losses. The same applies to fabrics, leather goods, cosmetics, furniture and carpets. With patented filter technology, BÄRO lighting effectively protects your goods

9 Innovations LED lighting technology. BÄRO LED lighting technology heralds a new era in the lighting of goods. LED lighting technology from BÄRO is sophisticated and bright, and therefore promotes sales. This technology is unique in the way in which it combines true-colour illuminated product display, an extremely high service life, maximum preservation of goods and exemplary energy efficiency. In this way, the high-quality BÄRO LEDs achieve first-rate colour rendering of over 90%, corresponding to colour rendering class 1A. The lighting shows the natural inherent colour of goods, and even the subtlest of nuances, e.g. fabrics or leather goods, can be clearly discerned

10 Innovations LED Food Light lighting technology. With the development of the LED Food Light concept, BÄRO has once again proven its technological leadership in the display of fresh produce in the food industry. LED technology illuminates fresh produce with natural colour rendering, whilst also protecting it from any heat load. This positive effect is particularly evident when it comes to the lighting of meat and deli products. Waste cuts and spoilage are considerably reduced. Another benefit is that no condensation is formed in pre-packed fresh produce in plastic packaging. And the UV and infrared-free light spectrum keeps insects away from the fresh produce, which is a huge advantage in bakeries and confectionery shops

12 Innovations BrightLum. This luminaire technology is extensive, in the figurative sense too. It is perfect for use anywhere where there are high ceilings or large surface areas. It illuminates building supplies, plumbing and DIY stores, garden centres and extensive hypermarkets. With just 210 W, it has a significantly better light output than its competitor products, which are generally 400 W. BrightLum is extremely energy-efficient, can be equipped with various reflectors depending on the lighting requirement and is available on request in all RAL colours. LumChannel. LumChannel is a perfect link for the integration of BÄRO lighting technology and interior design elements. The striking luminaire rail system can support all Intara-Caronda recessed versions in all lighting technology. Individual store planning can be carried out through angling. 14 Projects and special solutions In the case of mobile stalls it is of the utmost importance to illuminate the fresh produce in a way that promotes sales, to preserve the produce for an extended period and at the same time to stand out from the crowd of market suppliers. In this Wine section, BÄRO lighting technology has been integrated into an elegant canopy to illuminate the fine wines. This mobile stall has been fitted with energy-efficient BÄRO LED lighting technology, which is designed especially for sales vehicles.
