Limit first exposure under one minute at 6 inches distance to determine sensitivity of subject. 2. Wait 24 hours and look for signs of sunburn, watering eyes, changes in skin. 3. Gradually increase time by increments of 1 minute per day, (keeping minimum 6 inches clearance) - only if no adverse reaction is experienced after 24 hrs. from exposure. Maximum single exposure time of 9 minutes. 4. Limit each exposure using a calibrated timer: lamp to be manually switched off each time, maximum five exposure areas per day (45 minutes) 5. Find which of the four pictured timer unit and nearby instructions below resemble the one that you have. Read and follow the guidelines associated with the timer you have, and use as a backup to a calibrated primary device (not included). Warning: timer expiration does not guarantee lamp will shut off 100% Use a calibrated timer and switch off manually to avoid overextended cycles. M2M 060 (Set slider switch to Timer if present) and turn dial clockwise to begin cycle at desired countdown interval. Dial moves clockwise to switch lamp off after 5-60 minutes (allow 30 seconds warming time). Shuts off automatically or use toggle off on timer or lamp to switch off ahead of timer M2M 005 Turn dial clockwise to begin cycle. Dial moves counter-clockwise to switch lamp off after five minutes (plus 30 seconds warming time). Turn dial less to decrease cycle duration, or use toggle off ahead of timer delay. M2T 009 Power on lamp toggle, wait until center button lights up blue, press center button to activate lamp, for continuous on. Lamp will not automatically switch off while center button is illuminated and lamp is on. In order to select duration of cycle, with lamp on simply:

4 A.) press 3-dot button to illuminate it and activate three minute countdown, Lamp will automatically switch off after three minutes. B.) press 9-dot button to illuminate it and activate nine minute countdown. Lamp will automatically switch off after nine minutes. Note: requires properly wired & polarized outlet to function M2D 24H with timer set to off, Power on lamp toggle and timer switches and screen lights up with blue background. Using finger, press up/down arrows on touchscreen to select count down time (in hours and minutes, or just minutes below 1 hr). Start with two minutes (02). Lamp activates and countdown begins automatically as the time displayed, resetting with each adjustment. The number indicated will change incrementally as each minute passes. The lamp will remember the last setting of cycle time and begin each new cycle with the previous interval. Each cycle may be adjusted, and the next cycle will use the latest duration chosen, as displayed. Brightness of blue LCD display background may be adjusted by pressing up and down simultaneously until flashing begins. After desired brightness is set, simply press up-and-down simultaneously again to exit. Note: requires properly wired polarized outlet with ground pin to function Allow several days to heal without any UV exposure after first sign of overexposure. Bulb life rated above 2000 hours. Recalibrate or replace after 1 year daily use is recommended. Use at your own risk. Not a tanning light. Not to be used as a sunlamp or medical device.
