Availability The blue light spectrum ranges from 400nm - 500nm. The sun is a natural source of blue light. However, blue light is also emitted indoors by CFL & LED lights, TV and computer screens, and handheld digital devices. Blue light emitted by these artificial sources peaks at 455nm. Exposure to artificial sources of blue light may cause eyestrain, fatigue, headaches and 1, 2, 3 sleeplessness. Anyone using digital devices, especially at night, as well as contact lens wearers, patients with a family history of macular degeneration, and post-cataract patients.
