3 What is IP69K? IP69K is an environmental rating which denotes resistance to high temperature (176⁰F/80 ⁰C) and high pressure (1160 to 1450 psi) liquid. What does IP69K stand for? The IP standards are based on a two-digit code used to rate enclosures. IP6_ refers to an enclosure that is dust tight IP_9K refers to the ability to prevent ingress of water from a high pressure/temperature source. What are the advantages to high pressure wash down? IP69K High-pressure wash down uses much less water than is used in a typical wash down. Less water and less detergent usage to clean the same machinery / equipment reduces overall cleaning cost. High pressure is more effective in cleaning machinery / equipment than a low-pressure hose down process.

9 Simple Installation And Commissioning Attach Reflective Tape to Frame Install the SC300 at corner of opening One size fits all openings from 400mm X 400mm (1.3 ft.) up to 1500m X 1500m (4.9 ft.) Simple Installation and Commissioning; 1. Mount the SC300 to the frame 2. Adhere the reflective strips to the machine frame 3. Attach power cable 4. Teach the SC300 the reflective tape area 5. 10 30 Application Description The SC300 is placed across the top of a machine opening, making it possible to reduce the height of the overall guarding. This should be done in accordance with the machine stopping time. For many applications the height of the guarding can be reduced by more than half, with the benefit of: easier access reduced guarding cost easier maintenance greater productivity In this position the reflector is fitted to both the fixed fencing and the gates, opening the gate will trip the SC300 and stop the machine. Several gates can be monitored with one SC300, increasing the benefits of using the device. This SC300 application meets PLd, Sil 2 and Category 3.
