2 The Artist Justin Prigmore is an award winning artist with a Masters Degree in Ecology. As well as being a painter, he also works part-time for the Cairngorms National Park Authority as one of the Cairngorms Nature Officers. Through this role he is closely involved with capercaillie conservation. He is gaining a strong reputation for dramatic, large scale paintings that share the stories of the charismatic species he depicts. His work is the result of purposeful research, a unique vision and years of experience. Justin has travelled throughout North America, including Western Canada and Alaska, lived for a year in Northern Sweden and visited East Africa searching for inspiration. His paintings have found homes across the world including both public and privately owned museums. Awards include the Liniger Purchase Award from the Society of Animal Artists in New York, the Best British Wildlife Award at the National Exhibition of Wildlife Art and the winner of Birdwatch Artist of the Year. The majority of Justin s recent work has been focused on the wildlife that he encounters at home in the Cairngorms and across Scotland. Justin is an artist with strong ideals about his role as a chronicler of the wild places and species that we share this planet with. As a conservationist he believes that we need to find the common ground to ensure we all see the benefits of having wildlife and nature in our lives. Wildlife is such an exciting subject matter to focus on. There s so much drama being played out that it presents endless opportunities. 30 Giclee Limited Edition Canvas Prints Giclee is an elegant, state of the art method of reproduction which provides a vibrant colour copy of an original painting. Giclee canvases faithfully reflect the detail of the original piece and can be framed without glass. Each canvas is limited to being printed in low numbers and each print is numbered and hand-signed by the artist. Occasionally, a very large work will be offered in two sizes the Standard Edition and the Deluxe Edition. This extra large canvas will be closer to the size of the original and will be even more dramatic than the Standard Edition, making them ideal for larger spaces to create that show stopping look. The Deluxe Edition will be offered in very low numbers making them highly collectable. Payment, packing and shipping: Prices include packing in sturdy boxes to ensure safe delivery and shipping with ParcelForce or courier (in UK only). Orders normally take around three weeks. Prints can be purchased online with PayPal via the Prigmore Art website: Canvas prints are offered either unframed, where they are supplied stretched over a rigid board ready for framing by your local framer, or framed ready to hang.
