1 Appendix A Classification of GVC-related exports GVC-related exports are categorized into 5 sectors, namely, apparel and footwear, automobile, electronics, primary food, and processed food. Each sector is further classified into 2 types: intermediate and final goods. For apparel and footwear, automobile and electronics sector, we follow the classification from Sturgeon and Memedovic (2010) to categorize final and intermediate products in apparel and footwear, automobile and electronics sector. For the primary and processed food, the classification is based on BEC nomenclature: final goods are defined as the products classified under BEC as those for household consumption, while intermediate goods are products those for industrial use. Tables 1 to 10 provide the full details. Lists of customized, product-specific, differentiated intermediate and final products Table B.1.
