From the Floral - lack (A), cut: (1) 10 ½ x 46 ½ strip from the length of fabric (LOF). From the Monotone Floral - lack (), cut: (4) 2 ½ x WOF strips. From the Folio - White on White (C), cut: From the irds/ees - lue (), cut: (4) 4 ½ x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end, with diagonal seams, and cut (2) 4 ½ x 60 ½ strips. (1) 4 ½ x WOF strip. Sub-cut strip into (2) 4 ½ x 16 ½ strips. From the Novelty Stripe - Multi (): Fussy cut (2) 3 ½ x 70 LOF strips, each centered on a row of houses. Fussy cut (2) 3 ½ x 34 LOF strips, each centered on a row of houses. From the ot - lack (F), cut: (5) 2 ½ x WOF strips for the runner binding. From the ot - White/Multi (), cut: (1) 2 ½ x WOF strip. (8) 2 ½ x WOF strips for the place mat bindings. From the Panel - Multi (I): Fussy cut (1) 10 ½ x 14 ½ strip, centered on a birdhouse. Fussy cut (3) 10 ½ x 12 ½ strips, each centered on a beehive, flowers or watering can. From the eometric - Yellow (), cut: (3) 1 ½ x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end, with diagonal seams, and cut (2) 1 ½ x 48 ½ strips. (1) 1 ½ x WOF strip. Sub-cut (2) 1 ½ x 10 ½ strips. From the Floral - lue (acking), cut: (1) 38 x 74 strip for the backing. (2) 24 x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into (4) 18 x 24 strips for the backs. Sewing Instructions Top 1. Sew (1) 2 ½ x WOF Fabric strip and (1) 2 ½ x WOF Fabric C strip together lengthwise to make (1) C strip set (Fig. 1). Repeat to make a second C strip set. 2. Cut the C strip sets into (32) 2 ½ x 4 ½ C strips (Fig. 2). 3. Sew (1) 1 ½ x 10 ½ Fabric strip to each side of the 10 ½ x 46 ½ Fabric A strip. Sew (1) 1 ½ x 48 ½ Fabric strip to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric A strip to make the center block. make 2 C cut 32 C Fig. 1 Fig. 2 Top Assembly (Refer to Figure 4 while assembling.) 4. Sew (3) C strips together end to end to make (1) strip. Repeat to make a second strip. Sew (1) strip to each side of the center block. 5. Sew (13) C strips together end to end to make (1) strip. Repeat to make second strip. Sew the strips to the top and to the bottom of the center block. 6. Sew (1) 4 ½ x 16 ½ Fabric strip to each side of the center block. Sew (1) 4 ½ x 60 ½ Fabric strip to the top and to the bottom of the center block to make the runner top.

4 irds ' n ees 7. Center (1) 3 ½ x 34 Fabric strip on one side of the quilt top and pin in place. Start sewing the strip a ¼ from the top edge of the quilt top and stop a ¼ from the bottom edge. O NOT TRIM T XCSS. Repeat with the opposite side. 8. Repeat Step 7 to sew (1) 3 ½ x 70 Fabric strip to the top and to the bottom of the quilt top, making sure to stop and start ¼ away from each end of the quilt top. To miter each corner, fold the quilt top on a diagonal, wrong side together. This should line up the strips from adjacent sides (Fig. 3). 9. Starting at the sewn seam (represented by the arrow in Figure 3), draw a 45-degree line to the edge of the fabric. Sew on the drawn line. Trim the excess fabric leaving a ¼ seam.
