Sew (1) 2 x 9 abric strip to each side of (1) abric 6 ½ x 9 Palm Patch block. Trim borders even with the block. Sew (1) 2 x 9 ½ abric strip to the top and to the bottom of the abric Palm Patch block. Trim the block to measure 8 ½ x 10 ½ to make (1) (ig. 1). Repeat to make a second. Palm Patch 2. Sew (1) 2 x 9 ⅛ abric strip to each side of (1) abric Right-acing lamingo block. Trim borders even with the block. Sew (1) 1 ½ x 9 ⅛ abric strip to the top and to the bottom of the Right-acing lamingo block. Trim the block to measure 8 ½ x 10 ½ to make (1) Unit 2 (ig. 2). Repeat to make a second Unit 2. Unit 2 rom the Starlet - Teal (), cut: (1) 2 x WO strip. Sub-cut strip into (4) 2 x 9 strips. (1) 2 x WO strip. Sub-cut strip into (4) 2 x 9 ½ strips. Right-acing lamingos rom the Starlet - Lime (), cut: (2) 2 ½ x WO strips. Sub-cut strips into (4) 2 ½ x 11 ⅛ strips and(4) 2 ½ x 5 ⅞ strips. ig. 2

Sew (1) 1 ½ x 9 ½ abric strip to the top and to the bottom of the Left-acing lamingo block. Trim the block to measure 8 ½ x 10 ½ to make (1) Unit 3 (ig. 3). Unit 3 Left-acing lamingos ig. 3 ig Sew (1) 2 ½ x 5 ⅞ abric strip to each side of (1) Right-acing Toucan block. Trim borders even with the block. Sew (1) 2 ½ x 11 ⅛ abric strip to the top and to the bottom of the Right-acing Toucan block. Trim the block to measure 10 ½ x 8 ½ to make (1) Unit 4 (ig. 4). Repeat to make a second Unit 4 using the Left-acing Toucan block. Unit 4 Toucan (1) right facing (1) left facing 10 ½ x 8 ½ after the borders are added 5. Sew (1) 2 x 5 ¾ abric strip to each side of (1) abric Pineapple block. Trim borders even with the block. Sew (1) 2 x 7 ¾ abric strip to the top and to the bottom of the abric Pineapple Block. Trim the block to measure 7 x 8 to make (1) Unit 5 (ig. 5). Repeat to make a second Unit 5. Unit 5 Pineapple ig. 5 7 x 8 after the borders are added 6. Pin (1) 2 ¾ x 17 abric B Toucan strip on one side of (1). Start sewing the strip a ¼ from the top edge of the Unit and stop a ¼ from the bottom edge. O NOT TRM T XSS. Repeat with the opposite side. 8. Starting at the sewn seam (represented by the arrow in igure 6), draw a 45-degree line to the edge of the fabric. Sew on the drawn line. Trim the excess fabric leaving a ¼ seam. Repeat this step with the remaining corners to make (1) Block One (ig. 7). Block Six Unit Sew (4) 2 ½ x 15 abric strips, (1) Block Two, (1) Block Six and (1) Block our together to make Row Three. 15.
