Sub-cut strip into (2) 7 ¼ squares and (8) 2 ⅜ squares. ut the 7 ¼ squares across both diagonals to make (8) large triangles. ut the 2 ⅜ squares across one diagonal to make (16) small triangles. 4 icycles & looms Sewing nstructions 1. Place (1) 1 ½ Fabric square on the left side of (1) 1 ½ x 2 ½ Fabric strip, right sides together (Fig. 1). Sew across the diagonal of the square from the upper right corner to the lower left corner (Fig. 1). Flip open the triangle formed and press (Fig. 2). Trim away the excess fabric from behind the triangle, leaving a ¼ seam allowance. 2. Place another 1 ½ Fabric square on the right side of the 1 ½ x 2 ½ Fabric strip, right sides together (Fig. 3). Sew across the diagonal of the square from the upper left corner to the lower right corner (Fig. 3). Flip open the triangle formed and press (Fig. 4). Trim away the excess fabric from behind the triangle, leaving a ¼ seam allowance to make (1) unit. Fig. 1 Fig. 2 Fig. 3 Fig Repeat Steps 1-2 to make (8) units total. 4. Sew (1) 6 ½ x 52 ½ Fabric strip to each side of the quilt top. Sew (1) 6 ½ Fabric square to each end of (1) 6 ½ x 44 ½ Fabric strip. Repeat to make a second strip. Sew the strips to the top and to the bottom of the quilt top. 21. ayer and quilt as desired. 22. Sew the (6) 2 ½ x WF Fabric strips together, end to end with 45-degree seams, to make the binding.
